Both of you are right here. Pilgor said the general rule, but it seems that with the 6025-1 they have really made a good work :)

Btw, have you tried outdoor flying? I did something yesterday which got me amazed. In a clear day, go to somewhere with a lot of grass and make your helicopter go as high as possible. Since the receiver is at the bottom, mine at least went REALLY high. The problem is that after it can no longer receive the signal, it became impossible to avoid a hell of a crash xD

I went to one of my friend's house on the weekend...
It was a nice warm sunny day and his house has a very large
living room with huge windows facing Lac St Francois..

I brought my 2 helis in their carrying case (oh I forgot... I built
a case for them). I set it up in the sunny living room and....
NOTHING... couldn't get either of the Helies to work...
After thinking about it for a minute I took them to his garage
and they worked just fine...
Ir was the Sun that was blocking the IR Transmitter signal
from getting to the Helis...
Something to think about when going outdoors...

Yup, the sun is a huge problem. When I said clear, I meant "no wind". I did almost at night hehe.

That case is really nice! have you thought in making it so that the helicopters are vertical on it like this one?

Btw, you don't have a 6020-1! What you have is a 9808! Check this thread on rcgroups :)

That's why I avoid ebay for this kind of things... So now we don't know if the 6020-1 is better than the 6025-1 or not :crackup:

Thanks for pointing out the difference... I thought it was a 6020-1
I was just looking for one with a Gyro on eBay...
I have another one (#32694) on the way from DX... Still not here.

The case is only 9cm deep...
When I walk with the Case the Helicopters are Vertical....:crackup:

I was just surprised when I saw the bar being above the blades hehe. The 6020-1 is exactly the same than the 6025-1 but bigger, about the same size than yours.

It's not a big difference, but keep it in mind if you ever have to order parts :)

PD: What you ordered from dealextreme IS a true 6020-1 :)

Heck I replaced the entire main shaft and it's still wobbling :undecided: could it be the gyro failing and causing this?

I don't think so HS... the Gyro only controls the left/right rotation..
( the heading lock)...

@ Albert... yeah... after you pointed it out I check the Pics of
the DX Heli and saw it was a 6020-1...

Well the top blades are like unbalanced somehow :undecided: and seeing as how I replaced everything, what the hell could it be!? lol

It still flies fairly well tho so I'm not ENTIRELY bummed :p

NO NO NO NO NO ASH NOOO!

Cancel the order. The 6020-1 is old stuff, the new toy is the s107. I have both and the s107 is MUCH better!

Focalprice used to be the cheapest source at 27$. Now, at 31$ you might find something cheaper somewhere, at least there's where I ordered mine from :)
