So I can assume your wife bought you the knife edging assemblies? You're a lucky man. Oh, also got some helping hands w/ a magnifying lens so I can get into soldering :)

With some help, she asked me what I wanted but they arrived in the mail yesterday! Close one.

Oh well, the presents :)

I never want to ask for anything really, but i guess a bit of spending money for travel is always a good thing :D

They are cheap for the power but their divergence isn't very good, buy a 500mw 520nm laser diode from him instead and use an expander with it to lower the divergence. Green is about ten times brighter than blue for the same power... Price is a lot more though! You will need that discount :)

I doubt those diodes could be sold profitably with any further discount really. If you have a really cool and unique thing you want to build with one of those diodes i'd be happy to finance a 10% discount though, as long as it's something really novel.

Edit:

I just found this earlier post, I thought I was giving advice to a newbie, not!

I have posted my first sale at BST section, it's an 2x 14500 carbon fiber wrapped ehgemus host.

I have a finished laser that puts out 1W of 520nm if your interested, it's in a survival laser S4 host with an NDG700 diode with SXD driver and ramp-up set at 1.8a. It needs a G2 lens to give it some more boost, I have 3-element on for better beam specs, tough one to sell, can run 4-5min outside in cold weather no problem, I'll post pics and BeamShots in a review soon.

That is a nice body and I have been sitting about 3 feet from me right now. Have taken about 40,000 to 50,000 images with it and it is purring like the day I bought it.
Did it come as a package deal with lenses? I have a 18mm to 55mm & 55mm to 300mm that came with mine. Also picked up a 420mm to 800mm for my D3200.

No, don't have an extended lens set, too expensive. Got the 18-55 but that's it. Tomorrow I'm going out to but the wifi adaptor, so it's easier to share w/ you guys and social media :)

Unfortunately that is so true. Lens prices are devastating. The next lens I would like to get is over $7,000 UGH!!! :yabbem:

I meant for my 2x 10440 Chrome Pen. That pen is too small and can't handle the 500mw 520nm from DTR. Apparently, I want a Pen sized build not using too much heat. An 1W pen is a must have.

Yep, very true and at those prices you usually don't even get zoom, go figure.
