You should start the disability process right away anyway as it takes several months to go through the process and get an answer if you are talking about Social Security Disability.

Disability Determination Services (DDS) evaluation process can take up to six months (sometimes longer) before a decision is made on your claim. The MAJORITY of all claims are denied based on the initial application. This can happen for a variety of reasons; technicalities, inadequate medical documentation, inadequately presenting the disability and other mistakes.

You can always decline or go off it.

I have my Neurologist getting all my files since this has been happening. I also have all my medical from my personal doctor. So there is a major paper trail. I am just trying to get a determination on what it is. One I get the determination on what happen I will go through the process. I have a couple of friends and a cousin that have gone though it so I know what i need to go though to get that to go smoothly thanks for all the support

The average SSDI benefit amount in 2014 is $1,148 per month. Not a lot but better than nothing at all.

There is a pretty good web site that tells how they calculate the amount.

Hopefully the doctors will gain some understanding of your condition, come up with an effective treatment, you will get better, be able to go back to work and not need disability.

Well I have my never conduction test today And I hurt all over the test sucks major will know more next week

Well i got the nerve conduction study results back and guess what they can not find any thing wrong. Go figure. Im still in pain, muscles do not want to work right. Oh well I had a MRI on my Cervical Spine done today and hopefully that will show something! I had a copy of it sent to our resident doctor on lpf Jmiller and maybe he can find some thing that they local docs dont see. I am tired and sore and in a bit of pain so I am going to take a pain pill and relax

Well I ended up in the hospital Thursday night because of a major leg twitch that lasted almost three hours. I really am praying hard that god can find something to help the doctors find out what is going on with me. that is the update for now

There has to be a cause---is beyond insane that nobody has determined one yet.

It can't be that you have a condition unknown to medical science, either mental or physical.

Maybe medicine in your area is just lacking in talent and ability and you need to go to a higher level or speciality Hospital and stay there until it is figured out at least stabilized and symptoms managed.

Coulee City WA with a population of 600 can't be a hotbed of cutting edge medicine---get them to refer you to a major hosptal in WA like University of Washington Medical Center which is pretty much #1 in many areas of practice.

Of the 22 hospitals in Central Washington, 0 met standards for strong performance.

I am going to have to say that disorders like these usually take a bit more research to find the problem.

It sounds a lot like a nerve/neurological disorder to me. Like mini seizures. had some friends who had those. They cause pain, twitching, random loss of movement/consciousness etc

Have you heard of RSD/CRPS? That is another option but is worst case scenario. That bitch will make you want to be dead more than anything. Attempt to bring it too.

This is why. It is constant.

Some of the twitching and loss of movement can happen early on in stages of RSD. I would watch out.

Well waiting on my insurance to say ok to my auto sc bi pap machine.. Pulmo wants it on me like last wee. typical red tape bs. still no closer to what is going on with me and it sucks but any way that is the update for now

well all i am off tomorrow to get set up for my auto sv bipap hopfully this will help with my restless sleep as of late! any wan I am off to bed hopefully i can sleep night all

two nights with with mask on at sleep time have been interesting. I think that I am sleeping better but only another week of sleeping with it on will tell if I am going to sleep better than before! Now if they can figure out what is going on with me from may I will be golden,

I have to put this out for the ones that have helped support me and my family financially and emotionally these last few months. I have not gotten any better! If anything I am a little worse! I am dealing with a chest cold right now and I am sleeping with a BiPap Auto SV system by my bedside every night! I am updating the ones that have shown us kindness. I am going to run out of unemployment at the end of oct beginning of Nov there are currently no extensions in the state that I live! we have two options at this point in the game! One is a state check which will not cover our monthly bills but it will keep the roof over our heads! we may qualify for some energy assistance but I do not know for sure! The second and the one that we are leaning towards but tends to take a while to get approved is disability for me! I do not want to go that route but being that I do not have any job offers of any thing that I can do at the present it leave us with little options! I am not asking for pity or anything of the sort. I just explaining that is were I am at the moment! I have a gofundme Short term help by Jeff Pierce - GoFundMe it was a Idea but if it does not work oh well we are out nothing but a little power and a little data. I may or may not be on after Nov 1 we shall see! I do not know how much I will be on during the month of Oct but Know this! I have made many of a friend on LPF and am glad to know many of you on skype and thought LPF! This is a great community that has a lot of support for its members! I am not talking about spammers and the like but the ones that really make this community work! Pyro, Kiser, Paul, JRob, Crazy, And all of you guys have made this forum for me a place to hang out and have fun talk shop about lasers and every thing else under the sun! Mac or Madmacmo thanks for all that you did for me and my family! It meant more than you could ever know! To all the rest of you that I did not mention You will be with me Whether or not that I am on LPF or not. You know who you are! Thanks again My friends!
