Mad as hell at MBC Korea!!! Sh!tty dangerous reporting

This website features a "news" program targeting foreigners in S.Korea who have relationships with Korean women. The nonsense in the broadcast is astounding. I beg you to watch it. Only us Waygooks carry AIDS? and we are the only ones abusive to women in Korea.... please!!!



Korean media is a sensationalized tabloid press in need of a MASSIVE reality check.


Scroozle's Sanctuary: Racist Propaganda on MBC


- I gave over 3 years of my life to help out this ingrate of a country to better it's education system and to give my students a chance to think outside their insignificant boxes, and the first week of orientation we were subjected to nonsensical racist presentations by Government officials. Seems like the bigoted attitudes are still present and getting worse!
Yesterday's MBC news article is yet a prime example why Korea should be expelled from the Winter Olympics and any other international event until the attitude here changes.


I also notice that the government and the media take no accountability for their own actions.
Less than 1% of foreigners in Korea commit crimes yet, now we are 10% somehow?
We were encouraged by the local Education offices to help them out with "International Education", and in return they stab us in the back.

Huh... well... nothing new. Racism tends to be rather rampant in any homogeneous society.

Propaganda is also no surprise. Does SK have any kind of prohibition against propaganda, or freedom of speech provisions? I'm not familiar with SK at all aside from having played a ton of starcraft with people over there.

In the US there is currently a proposal to repeal the prohibition against propaganda.

This isn't state propaganda.
This is venomous reporting that is bent towards causing divisions between foreigners and Koreans. Right when Korea needs the outside world, MBC has the audacity to report crap like this.

Korean media knows no limits of stupidity!

Basically sleaze media... at least the way I think of it.

There is plenty of it around. Sometimes I see articles that leave me absolutely dumbstruck, due to their stupidity, bias, or flat out lies.

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do except educate people. The truth of the matter is, the TV show probably wouldn't air if it had very poor ratings.

Targeting advertisers is also a good tactic.

Actually a recent development in this story is that some Koreans are attacking MBC' blog calling it slanderous and derogatory against Korean women. Great!
Other posts are calling for a boycot of the Korean Olympics and international events until MBC fires the management and makes a full public apology.
