Default Re: LPF's Presidential Candidate Vote USA

I struggle to believe that Hillary will do anything she's promised. Either congress will continue to obstruct everything, or she simply won't do it and will hope people forget her earlier promises. I consider her trustability rating to be EXTREMELY low. If not for how obnoxious Trumps is, I'd expect to see her even losing traditional blue states. Nobody I know actually likes her. My whole family is filled with long time democrats and none of them particularly like her. Seems like minorities, social justice warriors and diehard feminists are her most enthusiastic fans. I honestly see a LOT more Bernie stickers on cars than Hillary stickers. Usually the Hillary stickers are on the back of a minivan being driven by some soccer mom.

And despite how bad Hillary is, she's still probably gonna win in a landslide because the Republicans put up the most ghastly candidate they could find. Cruz was kinda weird on some issues, but he would have been a TON better. Kasich might have even stood a chance against Hillary. Instead we have the guy who was only nominated because he was able to sucker the ignorant voting base with delusional talk about "building a wall and making mexico pay for it" and "making good deals".

Default Re: LPF's Presidential Candidate Vote USA

@Benm If you don't see the differences between European countries and the USA, you miss the point entirely. Trump does have a small amount of support where his base will continue to support him no matter what he has said or done, but it is not nearly enough to win an election in this country. There are far more people who will vote against Trump than will vote for him and he has alienated so many of the electorate that this number is likely to be huge. There are some candidates who always run and get a fraction of the vote, but the majority of voters will vote either Democrat or Republican. It really depends on the state as well. Where I vote, the ballots are mailed out to registered voters weeks before the election and there are many places one can drop their ballot off or merely mail it before the deadline of midnight on November 8th. Other states have tried to limit the Democratic vote by passing state laws that discriminate against people who are likely to vote Democratic. The Federal Courts have been ruling these laws unconstitutional. This hasn't happened in a vacuum, though. It is because the Democratic party has been challenging these laws in time to get them overturned before the election. They have all been overturned or the states have entered into a compromise rather than allow the courts to take even more drastic measures against them. It is likely that Clinton already has at least 252 electoral votes as these are the states that haven't voted Republican since 1988. And in the so called battleground states, Clinton holds an 8% poll rating or higher. So, unless something happens soon that changes the election drastically, you would be foolish to bet money on a Trump victory.

Will those poor discriminated against dead people be voting too?

Hillary Clinton deleted 33000 emails, she is a criminal, she should not even be in this election.

Even if she gets "elected" her lawlessness will cause her authority to always be in question, I don't think she will be able to lead this country.

I don't think her royal decrees will be obeyed, I expect 2017 will be a year in turmoil if we get that criminal at the helm, but she is not elected yet and if it's a rigged election then many may question the validity of the process it's self.

They probably won't be needed. I expect to see Hillary win by >60% of the popular vote at the current rate. Maybe Russia will release some "super dirt" on Hillary right before the election which could change things. Right now I think it would take a miracle just for Trump to not lose in a landslide.

Default Re: LPF's Presidential Candidate Vote USA

2017 could be an interesting year, I don't think Hillary Clinton has faced the law, I think a complicit justice department has sheltered a criminal, I will not be satisfied with Clinton in the White House and will support every challenge to evict, impeach and remove that Criminal from office should she slither in.

FBI director Comey said that: "Although we did not find clear evidence that Sec. Clinton or her colleagues intended to violate laws governing the handling of classified information, there is evidence that they were extremely careless."

Giuliani makes that case that when it comes to laws surrounding handling classified data, intent is irrelevant. "The definition of gross negligence under the law is extreme carelessness," he said. The FBI "clearly found a direct violation of 18 United States code section 793 which does not require intent -- it requires only gross negligence in the handling of anything relating to the national defense."

"It's the first definition that comes up in the law dictionary," he said. "It's the definition the judges give to juries when they charge injuries on gross negligence. Negligence equals carelessness. Gross negligence equals extreme carelessness. So that is a clear absolutely unassailable violation of 18 United States Code, section 793, which is not a minor statute, it carries ten years in prison."

Default Re: LPF's Presidential Candidate Vote USA

I have heard rumors that the FBI have some real dirt on Clinton and won't release it because they fear for the stability and integrity of our government. Basically a "Too big to fail" situation. Take down Hillary and you topple the whole house of cards.

These are unsubstantiated rumors, but perhaps the Russian hackers have some very real dirt on her.

Speaking of unsubstantiated rumors, there is the dismissal of Trump's old campaign chairman who was taking money for helping the Russian's PR in their takeover of Ukraine. This is a serious illegal event that I doubt will go away. Especially with Trump's infatuation of Valdimir Putin.

Wasn't Hillary selling uranium to Russia?
Via of control of a US based company in exchange for millions in contributions to her crooked foundation that's also being investigated.

I'm all for equal opportunity. I believe there may be legitimate rape claims surrounding trump, and I also believe there may be some legitimacy to the rumors about Hillary.

IMO we're just plain screwed. Super super screwed.

Another Clinton Associate Found DEAD, Bill & Hillary's Body Count Increases! - The Political Insider

fascinating information is going viral about Hillary and Bill Clinton, which exposes just how truly ruthless they are. In many ways they are worse than Obama. One major reason I say this is because the Clintons have a long history of people in their inner-circle dying under mysterious circumstances.
In fact, 46 people who were close to the Clintons have died during their 3 decades of political power. That number should give us all pause. If Hillary Clinton was a Republican, that number would be the question asked by reporters every day.
Now, the latest to be added to the list, maintained by WhatReallyHappened.com, is Walter Scheib. He was hired by the Clinton White House to work as a Chef, and continued to serve the Bush administration. Interestingly, he was reported missing during a hike, and his body was found almost 2 miles away at the bottom of a river. No cause of death has ever been made, but the death date is listed as June 13, 2015.

But the list is far more extensive! For example, Mary Mahoney was a Clinton White House Intern who was executed brutally at a Starbucks she was managing in 1997. As a lesbian, she became close friends with all of the interns of the early Clinton administration, and they would seek her advice after Bill’s ***ual advancements. She would have been a star witness during the Clinton impeachment trials.
And don’t forget Clinton White House Council Vince Foster, who was found dead in Ft. Marcy Park in Washington, D.C. He supposedly killed himself with a shotgun, and was found a few days later with a suitcase that contained a shredded suicide note.
Foster knew the Clintons from his time at Rose Law Firm in Arkansas, and had intimate details of the Clinton’s financial situation. Apparently, he made a phone call to Hillary Clinton just hours before his death. The person who found him never saw a gun.

Also, you may not have heard of the Clinton’s former lawyer Charles Ruff who died in 2000:
Charles Ruff was one of Clinton’s attorneys during the impeachment trial and was known to have inside information on the White House email scandal as well. Original reports were that he died in an accident in his home although no details were given. Then the report changed to claim that he was found in his bedroom unconscious, then declared dead on arrival at the hospital. The authorities will provide no details other than the usual (and quite premature) assurances that there was no foul play involved.
And don’t forget James McDougal!
Jim McDougal was serving his 3-year sentence for bank fraud at the Fort Worth Federal Medical Center in Texas, a facility operated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons for inmates who need medical attention.
Just prior to another round of testimony before Kenneth Starr’s grand jury, and while the reporters who were covering that story were two hours away covering a standoff situation in Waco that just “went away,” Jim McDougal suffered a heart attack while in solitary confinement. Left alone for too long, when Jim McDougal was taken out of solitary, instead of attempting to defibrillate his heart with equipment on hand at the facility, he was driven to John Peter Smith Hospital. Not the closest hospital to the Fort Worth Federal Medical Center, John Peter Smith Hospital is a welfare hospital, where (in the words of one local) ,”They let interns practice on deadbeats.”
NEW! The Fort Worth Star-Telegram acquired the official report of the McDougal death via a Freedom Of Information Act request, and reported that doctors ignored McDougal’s signs of imminent death.
The Clinton body count is massive and growing. Hillary Clinton will stop at nothing to become President, and death seems to follow her everywhere she goes. It is time to learn the truth about these murders and expose the Clintons. Instead of the White House, it appears they both belong in prison

Default Re: LPF's Presidential Candidate Vote USA

Since 2013, the nuclear energy arm of the Russian state has controlled 20 percent of America’s uranium production capacity.

Rosatom’s acquisition of Toronto-based miner Uranium One Inc. made the Russian agency, which also builds nuclear weapons, one the world’s top five producers of the radioactive metal and gave it ownership of a mine in Wyoming.

The deal, approved by a committee that included then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, also followed donations from Uranium One’s Canadian chairman to the Clinton Global Foundation, the New York Times reported on Thursday.

In an interview with Bloomberg News, Ian Telfer, the former Uranium One chairman and current chairman of Goldcorp Inc., said he pledged a donation of $3 million to the Clinton charity in March 2008, “when it was never contemplated that at some point in the future the Russian government would become a major shareholder of Uranium One.”

Why did the Russian government want Uranium One?

Russia is only the world’s sixth-largest uranium miner, but has a huge nuclear fuel industry. Rosatom had built that business partly by processing uranium from Soviet warheads decommissioned under the so-called megatons-to-megawatts agreement signed with the U.S. in 1993.

As that accord neared its end, Russia needed a new source of supply and Uranium One provided a solution. In 2010, a unit of Rosatom bought a majority stake and three years later, Russia paid $1.3 billion for the rest of the company.

The company that became Uranium One was founded in 1997 and merged with two competitors in 2005. In 2007, it bought UrAsia, a company co-founded by Canadian mining financier Frank Giustra that owned uranium mining assets in Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan Deal

UrAsia’s purchase of the mines was finalized shortly after Giustra and Bill Clinton visited Kazakhstan’s president Nursultan Nazarbayev, the New York Times first reported in 2008. Clinton, Giustra and Telfer have all denied Clinton’s visit played any role in helping the Canadians secure the mining assets.

A personal friend of the former president, Giustra, founded a charitable organization with Clinton with the mission of helping communities in regions impacted by mining operations.

Telfer pledged $3 million to the charity at a star-studded gala in Toronto in March 2008 that included Tom Cruise, Robin Williams and Elton John. Citing Canadian tax records, the Times reported that Telfer’s family foundation donated a total of $2.35 million to the Clinton and Giustra charities between 2009 and 2012.

Hillary Clinton

Telfer’s payments came both before and after a deal to sell a majority stake in Uranium One to Rosatom gained approval in October 2010 from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, because of Uranium One’s U.S. assets. As secretary of state, Hillary Clinton was a member of the committee.

“I have never met Hillary Clinton. This donation was made in support of Frank Giustra, my business partner and friend for more than 20 years. There was no thought of influencing anyone,” Telfer said by phone.

Rosatom gained full control of Uranium One in early 2013.

Rosatom styles itself as Russia’s national nuclear corporation and today Uranium One is its international mining arm. As well as Willow Creek and the Kazakhstan assets, it owns mines in Australia and has exploration assets in Africa and the U.S.

In 2013, the company produced 5,086 tons of uranium, mostly in Kazakhstan, according to its website. That’s just under 10 percent of global production and 62 percent more than Russia produces at home.

At Willow Creek, 362 tons were mined that year, or 20 percent of U.S. productions, data from the World Nuclear Association show.

Economic Cornerstone

Rosatom itself is a cornerstone of Russia’s industrial economy, building and operating all Russia’s nuclear reactors and supplying about 17 percent of the country’s power. Annual revenues are more than 500 billion rubles ($9.8 billion).

It’s also an agent of Russian foreign policy, aiming to export nuclear technology. While its ambitions were set back by 2011’s Fukushima disaster, Rosatom has won contracts to build reactors in Turkey, Indian and Vietnam.

No wonder I had a hard time finding this. It was taken from part of a New York Times article from 16 months ago. The article made no link between Clinton and any money from the Foundation headed by her husband. This is very old news indeed. The real news is the big deal Republicans are trying to make in the Senate about the FBI and their conclusion that Clinton violated no laws in the email thing that these Republicans just won't let go of. It has made the FBI's trying to give Republicans what they asked for into a very partisan problem for the Bureau.

@Razako I get that you are not a fan of Clintons, but to use the number of people she has known as being dead is a bit over the top. I am old enough to have a lot of friends and ex-wives who are now dead. What does that say about me? Is there a conspiracy in the deaths of my many friends and two ex-wives who are all dead? JEESS!

Default Re: LPF's Presidential Candidate Vote USA

The Washington Post, today: Trump's new campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, has reversed her position from five months ago telling Trump to release his tax returns. Now, she thinks he should not release his returns; not only the 2009 to present that are under audit, but also the 2002 to 2008 which are not. Clinton, on the other hand has released all her tax returns last year and just released her most recent return. Trump would be the first presidential candidate since 1976 to not release his tax returns. What are Trump and Kellyanne hiding? The fact he has paid no tax at all in the past years?

The New York Times, today: Trump's continued argument that the election is rigged belies the belief he is using this as an excuse for his losing the election and is pointed at places like Philadelphia where there is a large black community that has been shown in recent polls to support Trump at the rate of 1%. He is actually trying to get his ardent supporters to contest the election on the basis that if he doesn't win it can only be because the election was rigged against him. The last time an election seemed to be rigged was in 2000 when Gore won the popular vote and less than 200 votes were left between Bush and Gore when the SCOTUS took the election away from the people and ruled that Bush won. In that election, Gore said he accepted the court's ruling though he didn't agree with it. He did this to keep the country from going into a nasty disruption where the majority of voters who had voted for Gore would not accept the election results. Trump, it seems, is ready to try to make this happen when he doesn't win this election though he has little to no chance of winning the popular vote and there won't be a close election call in a state that might have made him president. All this happening even before the election has taken place. Trump would rather have a country where the election is in doubt and voters, even in the minority, are ready to disrupt the election results for the first time in the history of this country.

The Hill, today: It was reported that Trump actually had a conversation with an NBC executive in 2011 about running for president and doing "The Apprentice" from the white house if he won. The NBC exec said it was like Trump had no idea what was something that would sell to the public on TV and what would be expected of a presidential candidate.
