You were right paul, the debate was interesting.

I really liked the times that the audience couldn't hold back applauding when Trump retorted with the facts about Hillary and people knew he was right, Hillary is filthy and people know it.

Trump took on everything and knocked it out of the park.

I think the debate went roughly how the last one did... Trump's performance did well for his current supporters, but I think he continued to alienate people on the fence.

Wonder how Pence responds to Trump directly disagreeing on a point of policy?

I gotta admit Trump did a little better than I had thought he was going to. Originally I had thought he was going to completely screw up. What I found funny is that nobody gave a sh!t about the time limit. A leader that can't even follow formalities shouldn't be up there. What was funny though was when Trump started complaining about how Hillary went one minute over and he had to stay within the 2 minute time limit. Sounds like fighting siblings lol. They have limited time for a reason, there's a lot of "info" being spewed and only an hour and a half to do so.

If you hated the war in Iraq you would really hate the war in Syria and with Russia that Hillary would get us deeply entrenched in, and to our long lasting severe despair, this is serious, we need anyone other than Hillary, she is dangerous and will pander to the military industrial complex for their monetary interest at the cost of our brave soldiers lives.

Trump is our only reasonable choice if we don't want WWIII.

Well, it might seem like a so what moment to you, but it has literally taken over the election here. Someone who was 59 years old using the sophomoric disgusting language about how he treats women, as if he was 13 years old seems to most voters as a person they don't want in the White House. It has literally displaced everything else up to this moment.

With regards to Russia, no matter who gets elected I think Cold War II is more likely than World War III.

I'm interested in this scenario though. How does World War III come to be? What way do the significant international powers align and what is the spark that causes it to really get started?

What does it ever take? The Russian 300 and 400 series ground to air missiles are in place and the warning has been given that our planes will be shot down, we had been bombing, but now we can't, we have talked about a no fly zone, if we choose to test Putin's warning and our planes get shot down......

I think about 10,000 micro drones launched from low flying oversized cruise missiles could take out those missile batteries, but would that be enough, what if Russia just shoots down our drones and our drones attack his ground to air batteries?

Who knows what straw will break, or what response to what action will be, but we have just been slapped down and Hillary is hawkish, the thing that's different here is we have been arming the " moderates " Hell the dam terrorist against Russia, they are mad and it's understandable.

Yes Assad is bad, but not as bad as some, and Russia can control Assad enough to keep things from going full on Islamic extremist terrorist expansion, the " moderates " we are arming are worse than Assad or have ties to others who are awful such as ISIS, hell we created ISIS and again Russia is mad, and it's understandable.

Well, even though Trump's campaign said he was going to apologize and be contrite about his language caught on video tape, he did nothing of the sort. He said he apologized for the words, but, he added, it was only locker room banter, and that Bill Clinton had done worse. Bill Clinton isn't running for president and Trump, I guess had nothing left to lose. He certainly didn't earn any undecided voters' support, and he is so far behind in the polls now that it really doesn't matter. The fact that he said that Hillary represented a rapist who was acquitted because of her and she laughed about it is a complete lie! PERIOD! She was appointed by a judge to represent this person as a public defender and he plead down to a lesser offense when the prosecution lost key evidence in the case. A decade later, when asked about it, Hillary was disgusted by her client, but was heard to laugh at the incompetence of the prosecutors. Trump has tried to spin this response as her being happy to win and laughing at the girl. When you listen to the tape, it is a complete lie and they all know it.

Dot dot dot dot dot dot what? You seem to want me to draw my own conclusion, but I am interested in the conclusion you have come to.

Regular ol' cruise missiles would probably be fine. Ours are pretty good!

"We have just been slapped down" - by whom?

As for the rest of this paragraph... what I gather is that we're arming moderates but they oppose Russia and Russia is mad and that leads to World War III? A world war requires really significant actions to be set off that cause all the world powers to align into two coalitions. In what way does Russia being mad cause this? They've been vaguely mad at us and the rest of the West for decades.

You're a Trump guy, you have the best words... please elaborate on this point.

So we should rely on Russia to control Bashar al Assad, as opposed to trying to come up with our own solution? Russia wants one thing in the region and we want another. What you propose is appeasement. I thought we wanted to Make America Great Again™ - is weak foreign policy the way to do it? America should be Strong™! Or would we "make a deal?"

Sidenote: Whenever Trump says "make a deal," it just makes me think he can't pronounce "diplomacy." But I digress.

Any decision to send troops somewhere long-term (more than 60 days) wouldn't come from the White House, pursuant to the War Powers Resolution - it would come from the Republican House and Senate. Senator Hillary voted to go into Iraq, which we all agree was stupid. In 2017, it would still be congressmen and senators sending us to war. Hillary and Obama have been known to want to try to violate the War Powers Resolution, so if she tried I'm sure the Republican House and Senate wouldn't have any issues getting an impeachment through the pipeline should she decide to get the US into a protracted land war.

Default Re: LPF's Presidential Candidate Vote USA

@ paul: I disagree with you and any polls that show Clinton ahead, the applause of the audience is the only poll I needed to hear, Trump will win unless the vote count is rigged, and it's my opinion that the American people would be hyper critical of a Clinton Presidency.

----------------------------------------------EDITED---------------------------------------

@ Trevor : You don't know exactly what will happen, none of us do, but I see the direction we are headed, and who said we have to be the worlds police, we have done a terrible job of it these last 8 years.

I want to see us not making things worse, not another Iraq, not another Vietnam. We need leadership that can assess the situation and make a rational decision on how to proceed and then back it up, but after Barry's walking red line we may have to prove our word means anything in order to negotiate based on what we say we will do, we have been damaged, but I digress, we need to do first things first and that is destroy ISIS, then decide what our role in Syria needs to be. Now if Russia wants to destroy ISIS then why stop them? Because that's what we are doing, yet we say we are fighting the terrorist.......by arming them??????

Keep an eye on exit polling data. That's the most surefire way of detecting voter fraud; if you want to rig an election, the only viable way is to change vote counts when polls close. If that occurs, you'll see a significant difference between exit polls and precinct results.

EDIT: Wait, 8 years? You do realize we went to Iraq in 2003 right?

Yea, 8 years ago we had control in Iraq, but Barry and company turned it into a disaster.

We need a change, not more of this backwards insanity.

#1 Stop arming the terrorist and let Russia destroy ISIS.
#2 Negotiate a home for non hostile refugees or don't, in the last 8 years we have only made things worse.

Think about it, people want us to cut our military spending, but rescue Syria, and destroy ISIS, but not put any troops on the ground.
This sounds like a Vietnam debacle.
I'm ok with walk away and protect our homeland.

We left Iraq shortly after Obama took office - would you have preferred that we stay?

At that point, YES!

We should have kept enough forces there to imbed a solid democracy that could defend it's self, we did not finish the job and made things worse.

Hell we invaded Libya and made a mess there, it would have been better if we stayed in Iraq and pumped out restitution oil for the last 8 years and built up a solid democracy with better lives for everyone, instead we created more terrorist and still doubled our national debt, now, right now we are sending troops back in to Iraq.
