If the fire of Freedom burns in your American heart, if there is even a spark then for the love of God and country ANYONE and I mean ANYONE other than that criminal Tyrant Hillary.

Listen to her at 1:12 in this clip when she gets flustered and hear what she has in store, change by Force! She will change laws, change allocation of resources and change the way systems work........after that out burst from her sub conscious she catches her stride and puts a nice sounding spin on it, but for a moment in her anger you see the Tyrant come out.

That is what's in her heart, that is what she want's to do, but it will not be any good, for either me or you.

In all seriousness though, education is most important to me. The candidate that seems to value education and wants to improve our education will probably get my vote.

It is the federal government that screwed up education in the first place, you can't just throw money at a gigantic federal bureaucracy and expect them to make improvements. Education should be managed at the state level, not by the federal government.

You can NOT believe a thing Hillary says, the only truth here is that she is short tempered and nasty and cares not about what's in peoples hearts, she will use her laws and our money to change the way the system works, not work within the guidelines of our Constitution to restore balance. She is a Tyrant and can not be trusted no matter what lies she may tell you about education, your education will be DO WHAT SHE WANTS OR ELSE!

I'd go even further and say by city, or even county (where it applies) because everywhere is different. If you take a place like minnesota for example, you have a place like edina high school (where I go) where pre-calculus is mandatory, and they offer up to calculus BC for seniors, because the kids in Edina are hard working, and come from medium-high income families (so, they tend to be smarter, but trust me there are plenty of dumbasses here too), where other places in minnesota (I don't know where) off in blowhard, where everyone's a dumb ass, you can't expect them to make it past algebra 2. Plus, they punish teenagers (which we all know how they act) for not doing something they never asked for or wanted in the first place. We're also pushing kids too harx, and it's causing mental health issues. It's either being diagnosed more, or its happening more, but either way kids are being diagnosed with depression and anxiety like it's going out of style, and suicide rates are really high for teens. I don't think I missed anything in this rant... Ill have to look it over in the morning though.

Micheal,

I believe you're on the right track, but I'll go further yet and add to PiR's point. Public education was originally conceived to provide a minimum of nearly universal access to enough education to generate a literate, non-agrarian workforce. Like all government programs it has swelled way beyond its original purpose. This has been to enable the government to transfer huge amounts of money to the education industry, reward the employees (nearly universally big government drones), fund politically active unions and indoctrinate young and potentially receptive minds with government propaganda. It isn't just inefficient, it is immoral.

Having gone as far in the education system as is possible, my advise is to play their game, don't make yourself a target for their retribution and use the most efficient route to get where you want to go. One advantage of their self serving, goofy system is that an intelligent individual who is willing to work reasonably hard can easily rise to the top. The demands of the US education system are so lax compared to say China that succeeding here is easy. Competing against that Chinese workforce in the future will be another thing all together.

The fact that the "Black Lives Matter" leaders "Showed Up Late" is too much. I mean talk about feeding a stereotype. I'm really sorry to anyone this comment offends.

Default Re: LPF's Presidential Candidate Vote USA

The thing I struggle with is a humanity version that goes something like this: What if there are 500 people drowning and 8 of them, if saved, will turn right around and kill you. And others if given the chance. Would you save any of them?

I hope no one has to face that risk scenario but unfortunately I suspect we all do if anyone does (i.e. choose to save someone).

Let me ask you this, if I handed you a bowl of 500 grapes and told you that 8 of them were possibly poisoned, would you eat grapes from that bowl ?

Bad analogy.

More appropriately, would you accept a truckload of grapes, knowing some few branches may be damaged, and some gone bad?

The answer is yes, because you can pass them through a wash, and weed out the bad ones.

Even if a few bad ones do get through, you, the country, would only get an upset stomach, nothing more.

Yet it would seem many would be willing to even go hungry, or at least never even try a sweet grape, because it might poison them.

Nevermind that cops have killed WAY more americans since 2000 than terrorists have. Oh, and kids with guns. And cars.

Heh, I guess some people always need a boogeyman to be afraid of, and there will always be some scum to exploit that fear. Jews for the nazis, commies and ruskies for americans after that (and vice-versa) and now... I guess anyone Muslim for the republicans.

I agree that the analogy lacks context, but it is not a bad one. Given no other information, what would you do? Given a little more information such as, you are the last man on earth other than the 500 drowning people, who are all women, aside from the party aspect, that would be the only chance to save the species. Now, what would you do?

The more we know the less the risk or at least the more predictable the risk. Intentionally ignoring social media when vetting the terrorists to avoid upsetting CAIR was reckless, especially when the NSA is scooping up communications between lawful citizens and allied world leaders.

Ya, that seems like pretty good sense, but the analogy would be better if one group of citizens was trying to force all the citizens to eat these risky grapes.

That statement is stupid. If you just want to get an argument going, start with something more interesting like Teej's posts. At least they deserved rebuttal.
