I have the WLtoys V929 "Beetle" or the WLtoys V262 "Cyclone" in mind.

Did you test one of those or similar? I´m looking for my first quadcoper in the <$100 price area.

Already purchased this.

How big? The hubsan x4 is really nice and about the diameter of a cd. Was around 50$. I have over 1200 in my hex so I guess thst a little out of budget lol.

I have the Syma X3 , its a great little quad , and I dot mine for £29 new.

I fly the hubsan outside. Actually does quite well. Doubt it could lift that cam though. Really is about as small as you can get and still have it fly lol.

Thanks for your input Speedy.

Size doesn´t matter, the more stable, the better of course.

The quadcopter should be able to transport the linked cam.

So for now I´m very in favor for the V262.

I decided to go for the WLtoys v959 and the HD 120° keychain combination.

Gonna order it after my Russia trip locally for the $100 locally :)

But wow...

You can fly approximately a mile out using our included radio controller and telemetry. If you are using your own controller, you will need to check the manufacturer specification sheet for the model you are using to determine the range of the system.

The Pocket Drone can fly over 5,000 feet from where the pilot is standing, and theoretically can fly up to approximately 11,000 feet. At higher altitudes, the air gets thinner, which will make control more difficult. Please note that in the US the FAA recommends restricting your altitude to no higher than 400 feet above the ground. Flying above that height will bring you into airspace with manned aviation such as helicopters and planes, and can be highly dangerous.

I was looking to build an autonomous quadcopter but soon enough I found out that it was out of my price range... :/
