While not having anything to do with lasers it still makes for a good read:)

So finally after years of lindsay flaunting her excessive drug and drinking use. she finally got what was coming to her.

Sure, I feel bad for her, jail sucks! But after years of seeing her getaway with stuff no normal person could getaway with. She finally meet a judge who was not going to let lindsay's star power, influence her punishment.

Who knows maybe it will actually do her some good?

In all seriousness this is great. I'm sick of useless ungrateful bitches like paris hilton/LiLo and others thinking that they own the world and are above the law. Same applies to pro athletes. I just love watching people who have the world gift-wrapped to them still find a way to screw their life up and come crashing to the ground.

It's an unusually harsh sentence for a relatively minor offense, California defense attorney Mark Geragos said today.

"I just think this sentence is utterly ridiculous," Geragos, who is not involved in the case, told "Good Morning America."
"The fact remains that if she was anybody else, Lindsay Smith, that she wouldn't be treated this way.
This is a completely outrageous sentence in terms of her violation."

90 days is standard for first time offenders with relatively clean records. And that is usually only after a violation of probation.
Most first time drug use and possession charges are usually carried out in the form of a mandatory drug treatment program. As long as the offense was just drug use or possession, and no other crime of violence or theft was present at the time.
You are usually given the choice to complete a 90 day program or 90 days in jail. At least this is how it works in California.

Granted in this lindsay case, she was allotted much more time to complete the program, and probably was given more chances to get it done. But she failed and the judge gave it to her.
I'm still laughing at the video of her crying, LOL.
Time to grow up and take responsibility lindsay. Just go to jail and get it over with:na:

I read that the jails are so overcrowded in L.A. that 'most people' with the same offense as her spend only five or six hours in jail.
