^ Yeah I've been wanting to do an electrolysis setup for the longest time I just can't justify it. That's definitely a good video for anyone who needs the chemical.

I do believe KClO3 is illegal to possess for US citizens without special permissions. For example for Lab/industrial/learning(aka school chemistry professors)

Difference between illegal and restricted, in the US it is sold to those that use it professionally and can be had via United Nuclear company easily.
IF potassium Chlorate even becomes contaminated with an organic material or various oils, you're asking for a serious explosion or sudden spontaneous ignition! Also tends to ignite in the presence of moisture as well for certain mixes. I understand why some chemists are hesitant to have it in their labs.
