Second, If you really did ANY reading you would understand WHY we do what we do to WL.
Crap product, false advertising, banning anybody and everybody, some who still don't know why.
They want total control over their Forum so they can brain wash young members into buying their overpriced crap.
And making your FIRST post FLAMMING the MOD and other members of the site, is in itself PRETTY STUPID.

Right, just deleted what I did write and will write something different in response to you! Thanks for welcoming me and calling me an asshole I'm actually not an asshole as you perhaps realise but my 1st post included: "I don't know about false, inaccurate etc because my two Wicked Lasers have turned out to be completely crap and no-where near the £310 UK pounds I spent on them!" So Timelord how does that make me some kind of Fanboy? You guys should maybe stop being so touchy and I don't care what I expect because honestly there are more important things in life than what someone thinks of you online.

No way - I don't get them over there, I really hope they can refund my money but they are offering me a 'fully tested, output guaranteed' Fusion, is this likely to be any good? From what I'd read on LC Wicked was really good but I realise they seem to have just started deleting stuff they don't like.

Yea, they don't do money back refunds... and they never have. They will keep trying to push other alternatives on you until you give up or give in.

Oh really, well on their website they promise hahaha that within 7 days if you are 'not happy' they will refund you... I wish I'd used Paypal for this really, I'm not getting on with the Fusion, but maybe it's just mine. The Core appeared to be sent from USA which surprised me. And it's dead as something which was deaded by the overheat of dead. They've tried my patience slightly already.

Hello ring_zer0, and I too would like to welcome you to the forum.

I became interested in lasers a few months ago through another forum, and have been a lurker of LC forum. I am very fortunate to have found this forum and learn the truth about WL as well as other companies...good and bad.

To make a long story short, I almost got suckered into buying a WL from all the marketing hype on their website as well as all the deception within their forum. I am now glad I did not buy a laser from them, although I have bought lasershades from them because that is at least one good item they offer.

A few days ago I purchased a Nova X105. The total cost including TNT express shipping came to appx. $250.00. This included an aluminum case, a free diffraction grating, a membership to their website and about $10.00 worth of light years. The laser is rated at 105mw's, but mine peaks at 122 and averages 117mw's. In addition Nova's customer support is outstanding...there is no BS.

I bought from Nova because I had read reviews of this laser from another member of this forum I trust, although the laser reviewed was an X85. And because so many forum members reported how happy they were with their purchase from Nova. The only reason it took me so long to get a greenie is because I have been experimenting with red laser diodes, but finally decided to take the plunge and get a greenie.

The only other two companies I can recommend is LaserGlow and Optotronics. This recommendation also based on independent reviews and praises from the members. I would have bought from either of them, but they both deal in higher powered greenies and I can't yet afford it.

As far as WL and their forum, nothing disappoints me more than outright lies and deception. I have not personally engaged in the rampage on their forum, but I can't fault anyone for doing so. Many members of their forum have been banned with no good reason. And the lies and deceit still continue there, as well as on their website.

I am glad you found your way here, but it is too bad you did not get here before making the decision to purchase form WL's.

And I researched it for like a week before buying as well! I have this '240mW' Ebayser that got me addicted to lasers and having seen my Fusion in the flesh I realise I got a pretty good buy (with the eBayser), although it's not perfect. When I get my refund from Wicked, which I WILL get, not sure how yet but I wish I'd never bought the Fusion from them in the first place. Their presentation is good however, today I got a nice Core with a lovely plastic case, dragon case too, a pretty good manual, only problem is the Core is dead as the proverbial DoDo, I wonder if the button got pressed in in transit seeing as they put batteries (which are still good) in it. I will check out the http://unallowed.text.com sites and have a good look! I hate the deceptive business practices with a vengeance and will bring them up if they try to bull shit me!
