I was just wondering what types of laser related items we are looking to get, or at least want to get for Christmas this year. :san:

It can be anything from a new guy looking for his first laser, to a vet with more lasers than he can count, looking for another unique wavelength to add to his collection. It could also be tools to make your own hosts/heatsinks, or maybe some new test equipment.

Here is an item that everyone at one time or another has gotten for Christmas, the dreaded necktie. These ties are different than the ordinary blah ties you've received in the past, they're pretty cool actually!

If you think you have absolutely everything you need, take a look at these, here is a -LINK- to where you can get them. :D

Ahaha, love the cat laser vision necktie. Gotta find me one of those! :p

How about a 6W green diode? Perhaps as a friend for our NUBM44? If Santa would like to use his powers :san:

I'd like a cheap cnc engraver to experiment with and some tripods to hold my lasers along with two more 18650's and a 465 laser.

I think its time for a LPM, a 2W would be fine.
Even just a few more decent 18650 or 18350's would be nice, just like getting socks and underwear are always useful:)
Hope Santa is good to everyone!

My personal tastes have wandered to a point where I can't
really expect someone to "give" me my present of choice for
Xmas so I spoiled myself this year....

Jerry

This sounds very very familiar. On a related note my 5.7w 465nm should be here sometime this week. :san::san::san:

why the phantom 4 over the inspire 2? :)
Basically price.

The Phantom 4 Pro+ costs ~$1800 with the new 4K 20MP mechanical
shutter Camera with 3 Axis Gimbal and 5 direction obstacle avoidance
and a 1000 cmd/m2 screen on the Transmitter.

The Inspire 2 is ~$3000 with 3 direction obstacle avoidance and no
camera. Then you need to buy a Camera and Gimbal and a compatible
screen. Your looking at ~$4-$5K.

Oh BTW I also got this little accessory for FPVing the P4P+. ;)

I'm also hoping for a Sony RX100 Mark 1 or 2 camera. Against my own good judgement I even created a go fund me for it.
Here
