Lamb of God Singer Randy Blythe Reportedly Arrested in Czech Republic

Lamb of God singer Randy Blythe was reportedly arrested today (June 28) in the Czech Republic on apparent manslaughter charges that date back to a 2010 incident.

The Czech news website Novinky reports that Blythe engaged in a fight with a fan during the band’s show at the Prague club Abaton in May 2010, and that the fan later died of his injuries. Today, with Lamb of God back in the Czech Republic to perform a show that was scheduled for tonight, police brought the musician in for questioning upon his arrival in the city for the gig. As a result, tonight’s show has been canceled.

Loudwire spoke with Lamb of God’s representatives, and they told us that the singer has been wrongly accused. They added that lawyers are currently dealing with the situation and that they expect Blythe to be fully exonerated.

Lamb of God have been touring the world in support of their ‘Resolution’ album and have been filming a documentary capturing the sights and sounds of the trek.

Loudwire will continue to follow this story as more details emerge.

[Thanks to Loudwire reader Kristian for the news tip.]

Don't big band type hire people to do their fighting for them. If he did indeed kill a person or a person died as the results of an arsh wooping then that is a crime, sorry bout that.

It takes time to put a case together. If the police or DA suspect a individual. They need to gather evidence, talk to witnesses, get reports from Doctors. Then they need to present it all this to a judge. To top it off the suspect is not even a citizen of the country it happened in.
If Randy Blythe beat someone so bad, that they died. That is a crime.
Sorry but, there is a difference in kicking someones ass to teach them a lesson and beating them to death.

Not what happend. Dude jumped on stage 3 separate times. He was stopped first 2 by security 3rd time he got on stage and he was pushed off of the stage. When he ran at randy he did not beat him the band has footage to prove it.

Is it some sort of Christian band? I don't think it's very Christian to push someone off of a stage. Rather, he should have been escorted out the first time he attempted to jump up.

Well it's not Christian like to rush a stage 3X either, but I do agree with the second part of your statement though.

no very far from being a christina band the man has a right to protect himself when someone is coming at them. Your right sceurity should have tried to escort him out problem being is the fact that there is only maybe 50 Security guards at a show and how many multi thousand fans you cant realisticly stop everyone but then again not everyone is an idiot and rush's and tries to get on a stage where you have no permission to be at in the first place.
