a 1 in 10,000,000 event happens to all of us on a daily basis. Pike et-al could easily give some generalities (much like voodoo palm readers and mediums) and hit the mark dead on in a good number of cases.

There is too much confusion these days between educated estimates made using the scientific model and wild conspiracy statements (most don't qualify at theory) that have a definitive chance of being accurate even if based on total shite.

There is clearly a very long term conspiracy to bring about the NWO one world government that spans many generations. It dates at least back to the Bavarian Illuminati, a secret society founded on May 1, 1776 The Illuminati were outlawed and permanently disbanded in 1785. In the years following, they were vilified by conservative and religious critics who claimed they had regrouped and were responsible for the French Revolution. It is believed by some that they never disbanded but instead their members infiltrated the Masons throughout Europe. This is a frightening thought if you believe it, humans don't conspire to do something that may take up to 300 years, the average person has enough trouble with a five year plan. This raises the question who or should I say what is behind the NWO?

Very funny IE but there may be something to it. Just because something sounds incredibly unlikely doesn't make it impossible.

And that is a useless claim that can be made about anything, be it Elvis being abducted by aliens, sea monsters in Loch Ness, homeopathy, or any other ridiculous shit that relies more on faith than facts.

Belief often gets confused with fact. Fact cannot be modified or changed by belief but belief can be changed by facts.
Sadly science can never argue against belief, most of the beliefs held by conspiracy nuts cannot be tested hence cannot be disproved.

Strangely enough some people will believe that there is a planned NWO, or that Diana was killed by reptiles or that the earth is hollow and yet when you present them with some basic reality such as the exponential function they cannot comprehend it and say "that can't be true".
