Since my when collection collide thread is pretty popular I have decided to make a thread so people can show off their other shiny toys. Here are all mine:

Flip knives (including the flip knife)

The second flip knife is taken apart for stonewashing

Fixed blade (soon to be added Honshu Karambit and a M9 Bayonet) so much csgo you can taste it

The chef knife was a exercise in blade convexing

old and trusty

Wow that's quite the collection, I'm jelly. I don't have a very extensive collection, but here it is:

I have two Swiss army knives, the Swisschamp and the Mountaineer:

Just today I found a beautiful folding buck knife in the camper, just the kind I've been looking to buy:

And lastly, the deadliest knife I own...

i would take pictures of my few, shitty knives but its not worth is for all the rescaling and image transfering and all...

its hard when you have a 16 megapixel camera in your phone XD

i had one of those "cheap crappy" balisongs that lasted a very long time till i broke it in a stupid way. was 10$. i have 2 other crappy balisongs, which i love, but also hate becuase the tang pins fall out all the time.

i had 3 nice folders, but they all disappeared somehow. they were all relatively cheap so im not that worried. but i hope the same thing doesnt happen to my lasers... 500$ worth of lasers is a BAD thing to loose.

oh man for me it would be even worse $288 in knives and $548 in lasers

You dont even want to know how much it would cost to replace my video games + steam library+inventory $200 digital knives are too powerful.

For me, other than my lasers, my "twisty puzzles" (bascically different types of rubiks cubes) would be the most expensive to replace... I figure I have well over 600$ in them as well, maybe even 700$, but they are so much fun, ive loved them ever since i was 5, when my father, who got obsessed with them when they came out, got me one for christmas... its been 11 years, and i loved them ever since.

I need to get a job to pay for my shenanigans...

But let's not derail this thread! Back to knives.

Craftsman.com

I've gone through about half a dozen knives over the past few years looking for the best EDC. This one is by far my favorite. I used to like regular folding knives but between sharpening them, chipping the blade, and watching it go dull under harsh uses I'm no longer a fan. This knife is very pocket friendly and you'll always have a fresh razor sharp blade that you can abuse.

Right up until the moment you need to pry with it a bit, and snap the blade. Really depends on your use I guess.

True, it's not great for any substantial prying, it is just my preference. I never liked buying decent knives like the ones you linked then prying with them anyways, I've ruined knives that way and I'm a little compulsive with keeping them sharp. It became a chore so the utility blades suit me well.

Makes sense, I don't use my knives all that much at all, 95% of the time the most they have to contend with is tape, or a zip tie, so for myself, I want a knife that can do it all, and sharpening is usually something I don't need to do often. Quite a few of my knives I've never bothered to sharpen, they are still razor sharp after getting them and a quick touch up (which I tend to do with all knives the day I get them :p).

Nice to see another Microtech fan! This is my other hobby that depletes my funds, even more so than my lasers currently. I have never seen this thread before so I figured I will show a few of my prized pieces  :

My current every day carry:
Microtech Combat Troodon Tactical:

My previous carry and work knife:
Microtech L.U.D.T. Damascus:

Finally, the deadliest and nastiest knife in my collection, anti-shark and anti-predator:

The Wasp Gas Injection Knife:

Update: Found an old photo of many of my other knives, but my collection has grown somewhat since then ;)

Very nice! I realy wanted the troodon but it was out of my price range, plus I think the tri grip ultratech is super cool. How stiff is the trigger on the C. Troodon? My ultratech Is super stiff, I'm hoping I just need to break it in/lubricate a small bit.

Thanks! It is pretty stiff at first, take some Hoppe's gun oil and put a drop in the switch area and go through a few fire/retract cycles and it should lighten up. Mine gets stiff after a while, a little oil in the switch and put a little on the blade near the bottom closest to the handle and fire/retract it a few times then wipe any excess oil off and should be good to go. These are precision instruments and of impeccable workmanship so the firmness in the trigger is normal, no cheap fragile feeling switches here. Plus, how solid the blades lockup make these some of the best automatics in the industry.

yeah. but mine isn't stiff like firm stiff, its like i cannot retract the blade with one hand, and deploying it is really starting to hurt my thumb, so i think i might need to send it in.
