Howdy All well I just got back from an other pyro event called Do-It, this one was held in the Nevada desert and is geared towards people who like to build pyrotechnic items
We took many pounds of chemicals and paper and other pyro items needed to make things and had lots of fun making whistle rockets and mines.
Here is a few pictures of the event.
Setting up our camp and work space.
Picture of our work area.
Making a few mines.
Here are 7 mines I just finished making
My friend Cody.
Other peoples work areas.
There was some pretty big rockets there, this one carried up a 12" ball shell.
A 8" shell being taped up.
Pyrotechnic items drying in the sun.
A rocket with 7 engines and a 4" canister shell for the heading.
And there are always a few other items there to play with in case you get tired of lighting fuses, can you say Acetylene cannon
These cannons would shoot a 4 pound beer can filled with concrete about 500 yards down range, after it went through the target and the 55 gallon drum holding up the target.
