Well I live in london- its currently -3C at 9am- we have 4" snow and its still falling heavily- no school, college anything its great!

Only 4" , you pansy !

Over in Ft Providence NWT Canada, 3ft of snow wont stop them going to school, trust me, i've been there.

There is a good 4" here in scotland just now, I'm in school ( supposed to be at spanish supported study, but it was full ::) )

cant wait to get hom at 4:30, it's gonna be GREAT !

frankly in lon don 1" of snow is enough to bring the capital grinding to a halt and Im sure other forum members will confirm that im not exaggerating :)

the council has just confirmed that for 'health and safety reasons' there will be no school tomorrow for my sister regardless of whether it clears up... my college im still waiting on....

It's freaking hot around here. I think it's gonna rain (FINALLY).

we had another 1/2" snow... school is now officially cancelled for everyone tomorrow!

any ideas of anything laser related and snow?

my all terrain laser I left outside in -2C temps for >2hours and it worked flawlessly! I maintain my laser is the toughest around :cool:

diveproof, dust proof, snow proof....

I have the most awesome boots, great for walking in the snow.

Also went a cycle a little earlier, it was ... interesting ;D

Only got my two green lasers just now, no charged batteries and one is missing the back end, I think the third pointer might be under the bed, but I dare not go under. I'll maybe get some pics later.

Pure white snow will reflect laser light.

Where I am right now, it's a nice 12 C with the sun shining. Where I'll be on Saturday, it's blanketed with multiple feet of snow. Oh yeah, and I have to haul almost half my body weight up a mountain in that. Ugh. Real mountaineering is great, but conditioning sucks.

I wish it was warmer here...We had a ~60 hour streak where it didn't get above 0*F (-18*C), a few weeks ago.
That's air temperature, mind you.
We aren't getting any snow, either. We got 2 feet last month, but nothing since then.

Autumn/summer/spring, however, are very nice, where I live.

i should really send my torch to you guys see how well it holds up in -18C the best I can do is freeze it in a block of ice in the freezer.... :eek:

It's cold here in the winter.

I.e., the Charles River freezes completely by January.
