^Making a new account won't change what impressions you left on people unfortunately. Just try and start fresh on the one you currently have.

When I first started I wanted a new account and start fresh, but eventually kept this one :)

IMO, The world needs a huge shock. Not like WWIII or anything that tears us further apart, but something like discovering sentient alien life,
forcing us to not see ourselves not as an "American" or "Russian", rather we would see ourselves as part of the human race as a whole.

Meh, just some perfect-world fantasy I guess :undecided:.

When I said that I didn't say I cared it was off topic. Man I'm glad no body knows who I am I can always start fresh, if this was like reality I'd be screwed but I got a hidden identity.

but admitting when you are wrong, learning from mistakes and not repeating them will earn you more respect

or another life form here becoming sentient might hep us realize we dont own the place, but as the most capable species we are responsible for it's (the earth) protection. I think many animals are close already, like many primates and some avian species. dolphins, etc. tell you what if my bird ever asks why I feel I can keep her in a cage, and demands freedom I wont argue.

But it changes first impressions. Everybody here thinks I'm an idiot cause I've acted like one. If I started a new account, I could not act like one and start fresh. This accounts rep would take years to repair. I don't mean the bars, I mean what people remember.

Like Cyp said it ain't the acct its the person typing the words. If you know you have been acting like an idiot then why don't you change? Stop trying to hide behind Christianity and acting like a martyr. Its not your Christian views that get you into trouble its you! Saying stupid crap like wishing for total genocide of the entire middle east. That's not a Christian view that's hate! That's no different than flying planes into buildings. Its killing indiscriminately and there is nothing less christian I can think of. because you throw on, "well they need to find Jesus" at the end of your hate speech doesn't make you persecuted for your faith so stop pretending it does. You talk and act like a bigoted fool. You have been given more chances than you deserve by lots of people around here. People trying to help you be a better person so stop feeling sorry for yourself and acting like all you need is a new acct for a fresh start. Either grow the hell up, knock it off or go away.

Ok guys

Every one knows how childish that USAbro has been in the past. I am hoping he will grow up and start doing what he is suppose to do. I have had several pm conversations with him. I gave him advice and he did not take it. So what he is every one's annoying little kid brother. Big deal. Ignore him what i have learned to do.

Please this was not a thread to oh I think Bash USAbro or what ever. This was a thread meant to have a grown up conversation on the threat that ISIS presents. Its not just to Us the USA but the world. Islam is the second ranked religion in the world with Christianity being #1 here is the ranking Major Religions of the World Ranked by Number of Adherents.

ISIS is not a threat because they are Muslim! They are a threat to the world for what they are doing! Major Religions of the World Ranked by Number of Adherents, Four Reasons ISIS Is a Threat to the American Homeland | The National Interest, The Commons was clear, Isis presents a threat to us all | Sarah Wollaston | Comment is free | The Guardian are some articles on ISIS. Here are some of the atrocities that they are committing on a daily bias Horrific new photographs of ISIS atrocities | Daily Mail Online, Horrific new photographs of ISIS atrocities | Daily Mail Online, ISIS killed 500 Yazidis, buried some alive incl women and children - Iraq ? RT News, ISIS killed 500 Yazidis, buried some alive incl women and children - Iraq ? RT News

This group is a reminder that there are people out there in the world that love to kill any one. ISIS are killing NC or Non Combatants. I am talking about women, children, old persons, disabled people. They are systematically killing any one that will not convert to their law or their beliefs. They remind me of the Nazis of WWII or Stalin in the Soviet Union. These people need to be stopped but it needs to be a group of countries from around the world. That is what I was going to happen in this thread a group a like minded adults talking about the current situation in the ME I hope we can get it back on track and no more name calling and such. Ty

I think they differ from the nazis in one very important way. the nazis at least kinda attempted to hide what they were doing from people they wanted support from. they would often claim jews were being "evacuated" not "executed". many who supported the nazis were unaware of the extent of the attrocities. with ISIS it's in your face. if you support them, you are fine with being a brutal human being, none of their supporters can be conflicted about this at all. for this reason, I believe the support they can garner is limited, as well as the damage they can do. I dont think their killing can be called anywhere near as systematic as the nazis. those trainloads of people the nazis killed, thousands and thousands every day some years, they truely were systematic and efficient. ISIS's body count is a long way off and their methods would have to change dramatically for that to change. so in that sense, thankfully, the threat is less sinster, IMO, though in no way should be ignored. happy to participate in the topic again, it's unfortunate newcomers will have a page or two of irrelevant posts to go through

I served in the AD Air Force for 15 years and am now in the AF Reserves. I normally wouldn't care about killing somebody unless it was in self defense. If I was offered the chance right now to go over there as a civilian or mil to take care of those ISIS sh*t heads, I'd do it. Give me enough money to take care of the bills, provide food, shelter, transportation and plenty of 50 BMG ammo for my rifle. I'll sit there and turn them into unrecognizable pieces of flesh.

Two points:

1) USA Bro acts childish because HE'S STILL A CHILD!

He may grow out of it. Most kids are morons, and, somehow, eventually turn into adults. They are easily impressionable, and, well, whatever environment Bro is in must be a DOOZY.

As a teen, he is still developing (Despite his own goofy estimates of development patterns), and, one day, may HAVE critical thinking skills. We all mature at different rates, and that's not just in responsibility, its in ABILITY to think, and, for different processes, it takes different people different lengths of time. If Bro was 20, I'd say this batch went bad, and it was all over for him. But he's just 16 or so, and, still in the oven.

It would be NICE to see him grow up here, and evolve into a man from a boy, learn to think on his own, and so forth.

I'd vote to give him time, but, still smack his ass when he's out of line, so he can LEARN what is hateful and/or stupid, and, what is reasonable and/or kind.

ESPECIALLY in that religion thread, where the POINT is to discuss how we feel, etc. He's ALLOWED to be wrong (Spectacularly), and, when its pointed out that he's wrong, and why...one day, he might be ABLE TO actually consider why...and how it fits or doesn't into his puerile world view, and, if the world and Bro are lucky, maybe even adjust his world view to reflect reality instead of the hateful propaganda he's been inoculated with.

2) I think ISIS is, as an organization, not stupid. They are playing their cards fairly intelligently, and, except for being blinded by their warped version of religion, doing pretty well.

The being blinded part, of course, will be their downfall, as they will tend to overestimate their own power to recruit, and underestimate the rest of the world's ability to rally against them if they cross certain boundaries.

Terror only works if you terrify your opponents into inaction/attempts at appeasement, etc.

Terror backfires when your atrocities enrage and incite your opponents to act.

Its harder to terrorize a government than a person. The govs send people to fight, not themselves, and are far more likely to be unafraid of action.

@Teej

1. I'm sure you have heard, or read the classic there are no women on the internet meme.

To that same end, there are no kids on the internet. It's not a playground, school, or university. While I'm more than happy to give people a second, and third chance, he's used his up for the time being.

Fortunately for him, rep is easier to earn than to lose, so I hope he takes the last few days as an indicator to take a break, and come back with a bit more maturity and honesty.

Regarding ISIS, of course it's naive to think of them as being stupid, at least on on the organization level, but the very organization could not exist if it were not for a religion that promotes ignorance through exclusion.

Kind words. Helpful criticism.

Anyone who engages in radical religion is stupid. IMO they've only been so successful recently as they're a beacon of hope for young males without direction. They give these kids an identity and a duty to uphold their religion.
The people they've recruited from Canada have typically been single and without a decent job.
For most of these people I think it's more about having a purpose in their life rather than enforcing radical Islam. Some of them were not even Islam before joining.

The governments should be targeting the same demographic isis is, create jobs and communities for these people. The people joining isis are leaving nothing behind, so give these people something to care for, a reason not to leave.
