If you aren't familiar with Guitarist Takahiro Matsumoto, please take some time and search his name.
~Though you've probably heard his music in movie soundtracks and or even on the radio in USA or Canada and not even realized who you were listening to.
Takahiro is probably one of the finest (electric) guitar players in Asia, and has done some amazing compositions that has won awards.

Below is a youtube sample of the 2002 international music award for best song.

Koi uta (pronun. Koy-ütah)

I had an opportunity in 2005 to go see Takahiro with his band B'z in Vancouver B.C.
at the BC place stadium. This was their circle of Rock tour.
They play much better live than on their CDs. They actually had a mosh pit going.
I was quite surprised, as Japanese bands are overly civilized. Nope, Not these guys. They practically brought the house down.
Takahiro is one badass on the guitar!

Tak is a major supporter and user of Gibson guitars and even has a line of limited Guitars named after him.
Also, S.Tylor numerous times during American idol referred to his friends in Japan, who were helping out with the recovery effort.
This was Tak and Koshi of B'z.

Let me know what you guys think!
Just thought I'd share this with you.

If you can stomach the Engrish and screaming. This is NOT a recent video,
and actually got to see a remake of "the real thing shakes" during the 2005 concert in Vancouver. Koshi lost his screechy voice. Really good.
Tak stole the show as usual.
