I need help on building a mini amp

Hi, this is not relevant to lasers, but everyone on here seems to be smart and maybe one of you can help me out.
I'm looking to build a small portable amp that can be powered by a 9v battery, or a wall wart.
The circuit i was looking at is called "TDA2030"  I'm also going to be using a 8ohm speaker with this setup.
But all those little circuits are so confusing and i would never be able to make one.

or there is this other amp called the "MXR Micro-amp" if i could build just the circuit that would be great.
If anyone could help me, i would be willing to pay for your hard work and materials.

I am going to be using a Midrange horn driver for the best sound, and the driver i have it rated for around 40 watts.

It may be tough finding a amp with more than a few watts output from 9V (probably even less with a 9V battery), and you may get a lot of distortion at high volume. You can check out www.41hz.com, they have some tiny tripath-based amps, including one that can run off of 12V and up to 25W. They're great sounding amps and the kits are very high quality. if you need lower input voltage, you could add a step up DC coverter to the voltage input.

Hi Ryan. i need at least 10watts out of the amplifier for a decent loudness from the midrange driver. And I cant have distortion, thats a no-no. Like i said, it does not need to be powered by 9v, that would just be nice tho.

Well, if you're using a wall-wart or some combination of batteries (lithium/alkaline/NiMH) to get 9V, then it might be possible to find an amp capable of doing it, but a 9V battery has very little power capability and I doubt you'll get more than 2W out of one. However, I can't seem to find any info about an amp that runs off of 9V, at least one that puts out any decent power.

Yeah i guess i will stick to using only a wall-wart plug since it would be the most compatible to most applications and provide a decent output rating. Could you make any driver or any thing similar to this, since i know you make the Drivers for the lasers.
