Hey everyone,

A little music to lighten the mood and bring a smile to everyone's face (PLEASE GIVE IT A LISTEN IT HELPS EXPLAIN THIS POST)

I know I'm posting this as joy week ends but we don't need to have a special week to pimp joy! I know I must sound crazy but hold tight and hear me out. Pimpinjoy is something that started with the Bobby Bones show (country radio show in the morning out of Nashville :D), anyways, Amy's (one of the co-hosts) Mom (Judy) is fighting cancer for the THIRD time. Judy basically just said you know what, screw it, I choose JOY! For those who don't know by now, I myself am fighting cancer, melanoma to be exact, and the first time is hard enough, never mind THREE TIMES!

I, like Judy, choose joy. Joy is what gets me through the day, gets me through the interferon treatment (kinda like chemo). You don't need to be battling cancer to choose joy. I just ask that everyone join me in #pimpinjoy! You don't need to donate money or even spend money to participate, just spread joy. Do something nice for someone, no matter how small or big, just spread joy, happiness, laughter, anything happy!

Who knows, you might be brightening up someones day who is battling cancer. The small things really do matter and I know they help me get through my day.

Here is the website about joy week and pimpinjoy Pimpin' Joy- Joy Week

Please go give it a look or not, its all good. You can also #pimpinjoy to help spread the word, facebook, twitter, whatever just spread joy and hopefully brighten someones day.

My name is Sean and I CHOOSE JOY!

Praises to you Sean for choosing Joy. There are times in life when we don't always get dealt the cards we want, sometimes we even get dealt a s*^#y hand. But you my friend have chosen the right way to play it!!! I we all followed suite there would be no losers, all would be winners. Sean you are a winner and may Joy and peace always be with you.

Shane,

I really do appreciate it buddy! Spread the joy down under for me! As you said, we dont have a choice in the cards we are dealt so its all in what you make of them. You can live a miserable life and get down about things or you can choose joy. I choose to smile, I choose to look on the brighter side, I choose to continue, fight, SURVIVE!

Tampa has a really bad homeless problem so this next week I plan on taking out as much money as I can and write #choosejoy, #pimpinjoy, #spreadjoy or nice things on them and handing them out to the homeless people on the corners. I know its not much but I'll feel better and I know they will appreciate it.

Find something you are passionate about and stick to it! For me it is now cancer and spreading joy. Being 22 and finding out you have cancer sucks but 5 months later and I am still a happy guy. There might be rough times but with the support of friends and family, I will beat this!

A small easy idea out there for people is if you get coffee or something at a drive-thru, ask the person how much the order is behind you and pay for it. Its only a few bucks, simple and easy but they will appreciate it and it spreads joy!

Oh yeah you have a good attitude and that will enable you not just to climb mountains but to Conquer them! Giving bring a richer joy than receiving, those people living on the streets, whether they be there by choice or fate will appreciate a hot coffee or cup of soup with some bread. I commend you Sean, you are young and in times to come the hand that you were dealt and the way you played it will give you strength of character you are an asset to your country and an inspiration to us Sean!

Hi Sean,
I agree you should always choose joy. My aunt had melanoma and also did the interferon treatments so I know first hand what you are going through. My aunt lived with my mother and me and she was always the life of the party. Positive attitude can get you through anything. God bless and always choose joy!

You are our inspiration, Sean! Last month, my sister was rejected for surgery to her relapsed Glioblastoma in her Medulla Oblongata in turn for chemo and home rest. She's been given 3 yrs and we are praying too. Play hard and stay strong!

Hey Sean!
My friend is an oncologist who has a patient with melanoma. I showed him the pipinjoy video and before I knew it, this song was blaring all over the hospital :D
Looks like we're all pimpin joy in the NW!
Hope you get better Sean
