Everyone post pics of some food you've cooked, or eaten recently. Then wait 'til you're hungry and look through the thread and salivate uncontrollably.

Here's what i had for breakfast\lunch. Bacon, egg, sausage, mushrooms and pancakes.

Tbh, the mushrooms weren't so nice. The rest was good though.

Here's a flourless chocolate cake i baked for my Psychology class.
Yes, you read that correctly. Flourless chocolate cake.

EDIT: The quality wasn't so great on the last one. Sorry for that. Would take another, but it's all gone now. :(

WOW! Do you eat for breakfast ALL this? OMG! haha

In my house, as much, we eat a glass of milk, an orange juice and a bowl of cereals or some cookies.

And we aren't POOR haha.

Is a matter of habits. Some eat more than others. For example, I think in Spain we eat a best diet than in other countries, because we keep a mediterranian diet, and this, is so varied and healthy.
: )
And, in USA for example, I think people keep a bad diet in many cases, so there are many overweight : S.

@Antoniio: Yeah, i left the mushrooms because they were crappy and i left one of the pancakes because it ended up soggy with mushroom juice. On a school day i just eat toast, and i take it out the door with me. But there's no excitement in taking a photo of that and uploading it. Every weekend i either have fried stuff, pancakes with syrup, waffles with syrup (cooked on my almighty waffle iron), crosaints (idk how you spell that) and pain au chocolat (French words are hard to spell) or some combination of the above depending on what's in the house. Sometimes if i wake up late i have this as both breakfast and lunch combined into one meal.

@GBD: I uploaded them on the LPF pictures system, i guess that must be it. Weird.
I love sausages and scrambled eggs are ok. Pringles are quite nice. Not too keen on baked beans, idk why. Chez loves sweetcorn, it's like... her favourite thing in the world. My big problem with scrambled eggs is that it wrecks pans. Takes the lubricant off so whatever you fry in there from then on sticks horribly. Same wish washing it. I hate it when my favourite frying pan gets washed.

@tysonc1979: I love seafood! Chez hates it when i eat it though. I wish we lived near the sea so crustaceans were easy to obtain.

I just eated lamb, broccolli, roast potatoes and gravy. Forgot to take a photo though :(.
Keep the food pics coming! :D

Yeah, that's right. Chez is my girlfriend, and the girl in the pics. Check my profile for some better pics of us.

It's not that it doesn't wash out easily, it's that whatever you cook in it next sticks horribly. We've got this big cast-iron pan which i love. I hate cooking with other people's pans because they're never as well lubricated as mine so i end up busting egg yolks. I leave the remaining oil in there, then put it away. That way the lubrication is maintained. Then once in a while someone gives it a good scrubbing and all the built-up lubrication rubs off, and then they cook mincemeat or whatever in there and that makes it worse and then it's hell to cook with.

Currently eating the remaining half of a cookie. Would take a picture, but there's not much left.

You are killing me with those anchovies and fresh Parmesan T_J.

For the OP, I just had steak and kidney pudding. And for those who don't know, the kidney tastes like mushrooms. Mmmm, very rich...........

Read your thread T_J , good on you for being a "big guy" due to eating GOOD food rather than take aways!

Not the slimmest of guys meself an I enjoy cooking, mainly because my missus is frikkin useless in the kitchen (and most other rooms for that matter!) .

Anyways /ontopic

Heres a creation of mine from a couple of years ago.

Bacon medallions (grilled)

Sautee'd shrooms

Baked ciabatta roll

American sliced cheese.

It was an epic sandwich.

I had a fresh made glazed doughnut covered with apple wood smoked bacon on Saturday that blew my mind. I know it sounds gross, but it truly was delicious.

Haha! That's awesome!!

@T_J: Your pictures are not working. The amount of hunger able to be induced without pictures for me is fairly limitted. Although i like how your recipes are mostly centred around meat. I love meat!! :D

@ped: Oddly, i'm painfully skinny. Although my eating habits fluctuate quite a bit, for the best part i'm eating a lot.

About to eat breakfast. With a bit of luck i'll be able to think up something fun.

I had waffles for breakfast in the end, but i've not yet mastered the waffle iron so they didn't come out looking so great. Ahh well, i made 2 days' worth of mix, so tomorrow's ones i will definitely take pictures of and upload.

Also, for lunch i made fried squid and noodle soup. Will be sticking up pictures of that tomorrow with the waffle pics.

Ok, here's some more hunger for you all!!
Lunch yesterday - noodle soup with squid fried in chilli & garlic
5058-dsc02926.jpg

Breakfast today - waffles cooked on my waffle iron, with golden syrup
5059-dsc02927.jpg

Lunch today - A crazy meat pie with a mug of soup in my favourite mug :D

And this thread made me realise i haven't been eating many vegetables, so i also had a packet of radishes. Didn't take a picture though as, for evolutionary reasons, radishes are unlikely to make us salivate.

Yeah, i love radish too. Just not sure of the extent to which a picture of a radish could entertain me.

You don't like squid, or seafood generally? It's such a horrible thing to have to cook, almost enough to put you off eating it (almost), but it tastes really good once done.
