How did you first find out about high-powered Lasers?

I first found out about lasers from a WL ad on the internet. Had a look at their prices and thought "No way I'll ever be able to buy something like that". But then I found LPF after some searching :D

Bought my first 5mW eBayser, found LPF in May 2007, then got hooked after building a 16X red :D

Hmm, now that I think about it, it's almost my 3rd LPF birthday. :D

Woodofcville is my best friend so I pretty much have the same story. I too was amazed by even low powered lasers. He showed me a 5mW green and blew me away. We then got into high powered lasers and here we are in the dark.
