I've done that, gave a scammer a fake Western Union transfer code so he could waste his time standing in line to get the money, he was a bit miffed after that. :p

Nice!!

I myself have had an opportunity or 2 to take out a scammers claiming to be from Microsoft because of a "virus", usually with a very thick Pakistani accent.
I play along with them until they try and get me to install an email attachment.
I tell them that the virus I have locked my email account and I suddenly can't remember it. and on it on it goes... finally I wear them down and they screw off.

The second best and most hilarious was a Phishing scam by phone in Seoul.
Most Phone scams in ROK come from Phillipines or PRC. They usually use drama and you or someone you know has been accused of a crime and you must pay off the police kind of pressure tactic.

Another common ROK scam is by religion vendors and are hilariously predictable. They are the best to mess with.

You can really have fun screwing around with scammers minds! ;)

That video was hilarious... Thanks for sharing.

A few years ago we were inundated with Phone marketing
call after 6:00 pm.
When the telemarketer would start his speech/routine I
would pretend that someone was at the door and asked
him/her to hold on for a second.
I would then put down the phone receiver on the table and
resume my activities and not get back to the phone for a
good 15 minutes.
Of course by that time the telemarketer would have hung.

I had one persistent guy call back 2 more times with me
doing the same thing before he finally caught on and stopped
calling.
