Its actually not bad. Not something I would eat all the time but as an appetizer it was delicious.

Here in the UK we have a saying..
"I'm so hungry I could eat a horse!"

Now we're all moaning about it! :)

Horse meat tastes very good. Its very common in Europe and actually costs more than beef! ;)

I've had horse meat at one time and it tasted
a bit sweeter and less fatty that beef. It was
quite good in the stew...

You probably wouldn't even notice it in Swedish
meatballs...

I've had horse stakes and they taste good, but are a bit expensive compared to other meat.

There is also a fast food place here called hot horse that serves horse burgers. Again good, but expensive + too many stupid drunks hang around.

I have eaten the IKEA meatballs in tomato sauce and they are very tasty. The reason for adding horse meat is that it is actually cheaper than real beef. But the label should mention horse meat, that is what the whole case is about.

Really though, who gives two shits?

Would the media throw a tantrum if a few grains of wheat were found in a barrel of oats? What if there was a cashew in a bag of peanuts? You're insulting my intelligence. Keep your reporting material to at least a third grade level, please.

"I'm so hungry I could eat a horse!"

Heh, I'm reminded of:
