I'm going to be very busy over the next 4 weeks of course w/ the holidays.
I want to wish everybody good health and save journeys during this busy time. :thanks::beer:

I wanted all forum members to realize that we are a family of sorts and there is nothing wrong with that.

Also I was hoping that this thread would be the place people would post on for exchanging salutations... to keep it all in one place. Peace and prosperity to you.
Josh

PS I especially want to thank forum members Iskor and Niko. Heath
all the best in the world to you and yours. Niko find a good girl and stick with her.:)

Yes, I also wish you all happy and safe holidays!

Even if you don't celebrate Thanksgiving, where ever you are, if you're reading this and/or playing with a laser, you have much to be thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Also, have a Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Boxing Day, Eid al-Adha, Muharram, Kwanzaa, a Festive Festivus, or whatever else you and yours do (even if it's nothing, so leave us not start a religion flame war here) between now and...

Happy New Year!

part of a Hanukkah song, with notes.:
[A] Put on your [E] yalmulka, [D] here comes [E] Hanukkah
Its [A] so much [E] fun-akkah to [D] celebrate [E]Hanukkah,

[A]Hanukkah [E]is the [D] Festival of [E] Lights,
[A] Instead of one day of [E] presents, we have [Bm] eight [D] crazy [E] nights.

[A] When you feel like the only [E] kid in town with[D]out a Xmas [E]tree,
[A] Heres a list of [E] people who are Jewish, [D] just like you and [E] me:

[A] David Lee [E] Roth [D] lights the me[E]norrah,
[A] So do James [E] Caan, Kirk Douglas, and the [D] late Dinah [E]Shore-ah

[A] Guess who eats to[E]gether at the [D] Karnickey [E] Deli,
[A] Bowzer from [E] Sha-na-na, and [D] Arthur Fonzer[E]relli.

[A] Paul Newmans half [E] Jewish; [D] Goldie Hawns half [E] too,
[A] Put them to[E]gether--what a [D] fine lookin [E] Jew! [Esus] [E]

[D] You dont need Deck the Halls or Jingle Bell Rock
[E] Cause you can spin the dreidl with Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock--both Jewish! [Esus]

[FONT=&quot]Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an
environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral, celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all and a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2009, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great (not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country or is the only "AMERICA" in the western hemisphere), and without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical disability, religious faith, choice of computer platform, or sexual preference of the wishee. Additionally, so as to not distract from my previous Festivus wishes to you all while continuing the celebration, the Airing of Grievances will begin after dinner.

Afterwards, we shall commence the Feats of Strength, which will only be over when Dave is finally wrestled to the ground and pinned.

Santa Claus, like all pilots, gets regular visits from the Federal Aviation Administration, and it was shortly before Christmas when the FAA examiner arrived.

In preparation, Santa had the elves wash the sled and bathe all the reindeer. Santa got his logbook out and made sure all his paperwork was in order. The examiner walked slowly around the sled. He checked the reindeer harnesses, the landing gear, and Rudolf's nose. He painstakingly reviewed Santa's weight and balance calculations for the sled's enormous payload. Finally, they were ready for the checkride.

Santa got in and fastened his seatbelt and shoulder harness and checked the compass. Then the examiner hopped in carrying, to Santa's surprise, a shotgun.

"What's that for?" asked Santa incredulously.

The examiner winked and said, "Well I'm not supposed to tell you this, but you're gonna lose an engine on takeoff."

Peace,
dave

No matter what you believe in, take a day and share a meal with your family, and friends, and celebrate this magical time of year. And remember its not the token that is important, its the thought behind it, and the freedom to pursue the happiness that unites us all.

Also keep in mind the people that are less fortunate than us. Even if you donated just a $1, or a can of soup, you will be changing the life of a needy person or child. The effort of donating is that powerful. You just have to do it.

May peace be with all.
