There's only one way to know . . . . .

Peace,
dave

Not really no... I'm not a cat killer.... But you are maybe? :na: :p

(Side note... you're the first person to get the joke... this does not bode well for the general intelligence of my friends :undecided:)

If you have not yet seen it, pick up "The Big Bang Theory"

the big bang theory seasons 1-4 | eBay

One of my favorite shows actually:D

There are definitely many times where I make a joke, and it falls absolutely flat because no one gets the reference.

I sent that same exact picture to three close friends.

Not one got it. I have a feeling that if I said that it's a reference to schrodinger's cat I'd get more puzzled "????" responses.

@FP - Awesome bbq you have there :eg:

The fact that I got it last night as soon as I saw it made me feel smart.

Yeah. I'm always behind the curve on television shows :p

I don't own a television
I have a projector and disc player, but no TV access

I wait until someone convinces me that a show is worth watching.
Then I buy the discs
It took a couple of years before I got (enough) credible recommendations that I would like The Big Bang

It is my favorite archetype (fish out of water), AND it actually works with current scientific theory

IIRC, I watched the entire first season in my first sitting

@ FlamingPyro -- I remember the video. I like it lots

Peace,
dave

Interesting. I don't own a TV either.

I do watch lots of stuff, but I download shows that interest me. IIRC I sat through seasons one, and two over one weekend.

It's the commercials I can't stand. That, and the memories of having hundreds of channels and STILL nothing to watch. I mean I remember spending time just flipping through channels, FINALLY finding something interesting, and then boom.... commercial.

Every hour of television, on most channels, boils down to about 42 minutes of the actual show, and 18 minutes of commercials. Of course product placement in many shows now is extremely obvious, so idk if parts of the show also qualify.

Also, why in the world do I want to subsidize the sports channels, or other channels I don't watch. I'm surprised that so many people still keep traditional cable subscriptions... I opted to paying for faster internet instead.

Heh...I Happen to love the Big Bang theory too. Pretty much don't watch TV for the same reason... I hate commercials. Although I just recently did discover just how awesome It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is.

It's always sunny in philadelphia is hilarious. It's one of my all time favorite shows no doubt.

Anybody who hasn't seen it needs to watch it. Start with the season 1 (obviously)

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia has it's moments, no doubt about that. It also has quite a number of moments that make me feel like :barf:

In terms of flat out laughter, nothing beats Two, and Half Men... the version with Charlie Sheen in it. Now the show is crap unfortunately.

Other shows I'm particularly fond of, in terms of comedy sitcoms;

Mash, Seinfeld, Frasier, New Radio, Scrubs, That 70's Show, How I Met Your Mother, Worst Week (hilarious, but by it's nature, short lived).

Has anyone watched the IT Crowd? It's a british comedy. It's great. It failed to make it to america because it was "too stupid for television"
