Now I either suck at googling or nobody has ever written a how-to on how to do this, I think the first one is correct :)

They are similar to this (although not exact... same control box but with bigger/more lights. not aquired from DX though...)DealExtreme: $16.36 Police Style Car 12V 6-LED Red/Blue Stroboscopic Light with 3-Mode Controller My friend bought these god knows where off the internet and if i find out how to install them theyre mine :D

so anyway can anyone tell me how to install these on a regular car? i cant seem to find any information anywhere

:(

thanks for any help

I'm sure you could. You would just need a 12v power supply. You could probably find something around the house like an old cell phone or camera charger or something and strip the wires.

Yes, just find a 12V plugpack and wire it up with the correct polarity. I must give a warning though, using emergency strobe lights etc, or for that matter, any distracting lights, on your car is quite illegal while driving on public roads ...

For $16 it doesn't look like too bad of a deal...I could think of some funny things to do with those.
