Yes same thing here, now on my birthday or Christmas I have to buy myself something, nothing from anyone else except that my brother in NYC will send something once every 2 years or so. This is actually generous of him because I never send him anything, but he knows I have no money. We do talk on the phone once a week. Happy birthday.:bday:

True. Lol
They already think it's a waste of money for just a typical 1w 445.

Happy Birthday. Sorry we couldn't throw you a laser party. I'll shine my laser around the room in your honor. My wife and I pretty much tell each other what we want. That works semi-well. I always want something that costs way too much though.

I'm really apprehensive about saying this, I don't know your situation vortish, but no I have not done this, and I think it's pretty immature for an adult. Maybe your family is totally different than mine and that's how you guys operate and that's fine, I just felt that needed to be said.

We buy each other a nice restaurant meal, that way we can get together, now my sister likes gold/jewelry and being the only female sibling she gets a shiny trinket, but the guys just get a handshake. But to answer your question, no, nobody ever ask for anything, except for where to eat.
