No, it sounds a lot more professional and convincing than most of the spam I've gotten before... I'd be flattered to receive such well thought out spam. All I get is the king of nigeria emailing me that "he haves 70 billon dolers" he urgently needs me to take from him.

It is, a scam, however. search for your reference number, it seems they never change it.

Wow, £600,000 pounds. Congratulations These places sure are getting desperate. Next it'll be something like:

I got a letter from Niger. This guy too wanted me to send him handling fees so I could have 20 percent of 28,000 Dollars. It was hand written forein postmark real authentic, real long explanation why etc..

usually i use my gmail account for everythig, because spam is almost 100% correctly filtered...but somehow, from time to time...one gets around the filter and goes into my inbox....those are like the better spams.....they're well written and dont have emails or subjects as V1GR44 PFZZ3R: FJQKLWESXX091@S9CDJ.COM

I am adopting the son of an old African lady soon. She is dying from cancer, and i will get one third of her 3,000,000.00 Euro inheritance.. Another third is going to a christian charity and the rest i have to invest in some business, so her son has money, when he grows up..


I'm gonna be rich! Freakin rich man! I just have to send her my passport and ID card, and bank account number, as well as some money, to cover some fees.


Not to mention, that i win the e-mail lottery every time!

Mikey, if you want, i can send your e-mail to an african ambassador, that needs to smuggle almost $30,000,000.00 out of africa, and you would get 10% if you help him.

He seems like a trustworthy person (he is an ambassador afterall), besides, i don't need this money. I'm getting enough from of the lottery and the adoption...

Thanks, but i didn't make any of that up...


I was actually talking to that "African lady" for a while, making "her" believe i fell for it, and telling her, that i work for a christian charity and that i will adopt "her" "son"...

"She" was very excited about it, and eagerly waiting on my passport and financial data...


Oh, and "she" said, that i should call "her", but that "her" doctor advised "her" not to answer the phone due to her blood pressure, so her "son" would be answering the phone most likely...
