don't feel like starting a thread elsewhere, but does anyone think this can be modded with a higher powered diode?

and to stick another diode in...
if possible...

bought it. now we wait... sigh.
if only i had the money to spare to do ems shipping :-[
if all else fails, i'll just do a custom made one myself and use that mount lol

lol, you got glued....

anyways think of the effect of not only being sighted in by a laser but by a blinding laser. Wow
you might deter someone just by the laser and never have to take a shot!
or you take it to the shooting range and accidently light the paper target on fire before you shoot it.  ;D

Just dont install a blu-ray diode, its fuzzy and disorienting on both ends. pls you cant see it for very far. but it would look cool!

it actually turned out to work o.0 it just took a lot of poking at to figure how to take it apart... it was just a bad connection somewhere in there.
and i also managed to get it apart... and guess what? theres a standard sized diode in it!
it took some convincing to remove and in my dilda's old diode goes.
now i just need a new driver board...
i'll post a thread in the red forum once i get it together with a lot of pics too.
i'll title it "burning gun" or something lol

on the barrel mount it comes with, i need to take a round file to the inside of the non threaded holes to get the screws at an angle to work on my shotgun. the difference in diameter is too big lol.

my goal is to make a video of me lighting a match with it at like 15 feet, then shooting whatever i attached the match to... maybe a melon
could be fun...

would a flexdrive work with one cr123a battery to power a red diode? >.>
and can someone give me the width of the driver in inches? like .234"

driver should be here in a few days. woo. im trying to take some decent pics to use when i make a thread on this.

i'm starting to think a video of me going "hey watch my lazor burn a hole through this *solid object here*" *boom* would be funny...
