BTW, I just ordered a couple of the pocket Constitutions, to give to my daughter and her husband. I already have one.

EVERYONE should carry a copy of the Constitution, so they can refresh their memories what this country is about.

What everyone should understand is that the Constitution wasn't written to give us anything but a limited government. It's limited in almost everything written in the document. The 10th is especially limiting, in that it specifically states that anything not spelled out in the Constitution is left to the states.

Somewhere along the way, people lost sight of what the Constitution provided and WHY. It does NOT convey "rights", it protects them. Perhaps pocket constitutions should be sent to every member of congress (House, and Senate). OH! And especially to the President. He is in need of one the most.

But to quote Marco Rubio

Quote:
“Let's dispel with this fiction that Barack Obama doesn't know what he's doing. He knows exactly what he's doing,”
I hope Marco Rubio continues to repeat that phrase. Don't let PCness stop him from telling the truth.

They don't care! (most of them) I wouldn't waste my time. The average American is pretty stupid. By definition, the median IQ is 100 and one standard deviation south (15) used to be on the border of retardation. This was reset a couple of decades ago because certain groups were WAY too represented as retarded. Nevertheless, you are not going to be able to correct this slide by pointing out the inequities or the illegalities. You should protect yourself and those close to you that you care about and let it fail. Societies need to reset and they always do. With only limited resources an individual can do little to affect this process, but a lot to protect himself.

Sadly I don't see things getting put right either without a massive reset, but just maybe it could be a soft fast reset....sigh, I know, I know.
Decades of complacency and apathy have let the power mongers dig in, and over half the population doesn't even understand, worse yet they embrace dependency and feel entitled.
That means 1 thing for almost certain.
It will likely get much worse before it gets made better!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let's take a closer look at this, I admit that I DID NOT WANT TO BELIEVE IT, I wanted to think the cops have to stay safe and acted out of caution, with their vest on, likely ceramic in this case with all the weeks of prep.

LaVoy was MURDERED, I did not want to believe it, but they hit him with his hands up after an agent jumped in front of his truck.

Did you see the agent practically jump under his truck?

That's to give them the fallback that LaVoy assaulted with a deadly weapon i.e. the vehicle. You see him steering to miss the asshat jumping in front of his truck.

They were out to kill him and he knew it, he got out to save his friends in the truck from being murdered with him.

His last act was to save his friends from the murdering thugs by sacrificing him self.

His hands were up and my eyes are open, I will not forget what I have seen!

If LaVoy was black we would have riots in the streets.

Watch the first 21 seconds a few times, LaVoy is still alive at 25 seconds, his hand is moving, then watch the final headshot with his one hand still reaching up as it stops.

You were right from the start Alaskan, I did not want to believe it, but you called it right.
These guys would not have shot up a town hall, they didn't even fire from the truck as LaVoy was being murdered.

Even if they did use this remote spot for a safe takedown they still shot him with his hands up, he wasn't reaching for a vest gun, he had been shot with his hands up....where is his riot in the streets, why is it not being played on the news a 100 times a day for a week?

Went to a gun show today. Scored some 50 BMG ammo, 40mm grenade shell, gator "beef" sticks, and a red smoke grenade.

The 2nd Amendment moved one step closer to death today, with the passing of Justice Scalia. You can bet Obama will try to bypass congress, with some sort of recess appt. It will be unconstitutional to be sure, but who gets to decide? The Supreme Court.

How do you think a 5-4 liberal court would rule on his unconstitutional action?

Then, imagine if Hillary Clinton is elected. There are still 4 justices who are over 75. 2 of them are liberal so swapping them wouldn't make much difference. However, the longevity of liberals huge. It would be 5-2 liberal for decades.

But if she got to replace 2 more justices, the court would be 7-2 liberal, for decades.

* KISS OUR 2nd Amendment rights goodbye
* KISS our 2st Amendment rights goodbye
* KISS our religious rights goodbye
* KISS our constitutional election laws goodbye
* Count on liberals allowing illegals to vote. Who decides legality? A 7-2 Liberal court

It wouldn't be a stretch to believe if Hillary Clinton is elected, conservatives would never win another election.

Sad day for America.

Rest in peace, justice Scalia.

That said, here's some devil's advocacy

The court is now 4-4 (with one of the conservatives actually a swing voter). Roberts occasionally voted with liberals.

So, the court might, now, be somewhat more liberal than it was, yesterday. Obama may just consider, that he has a better chance by leaving the court 4-4, than trying to buck the system and force an appointee. He might fair better with a 4-4 court, than the previous 5-4 conservative court.

Factoid: Conservative presidents have occasionally replaced a liberal justice, with another liberal, to keep the court balanced. Democrats NEVER.

Scary thought

Congress is in recess, right now.
Obama could appoint Bill Clinton to the court, tonight, if he wanted to meddle
Imagine how that would affect the election

There is a long-standing tradition of not giving lifetime appointments in the last year of a presidency. Think Obama cares?

Sorry to say, but after tonight, if Trump doesn't recover, he's headed to 4th place. He's losing it tonight in the debate. Looking very unprofessional and unPresidential. Being thrown off message with booing (coached audience I think by CBS)

We'll see. Recover suggests that his current position needs to heal. I think his current position is largely unchanged. The audience may or may not be coached, but it is due to the public recriminations from Trump, over the last week, that many of us are now aware that to be in the audience at all is to be part of the GOP establishment insider group. This is a lot like the super delegates that provide an uneven playing field to support the "party's" predetermined favorites.

I like Trump's feistyness. Tear it all down. Ruin it. These lifers are at the heart of our decline and all the crap that has allowed them to prosper works against this country.

A Message to all who read here:

Thousands and thousands of citizens living in Connecticut are refusing to comply with unconstitutional infringements, but that is not enough, however it is the right thing to do for the moment.

Because it is our duty to disobey illegal unconstitutional laws and when enough of the nation is infringed and engaged in civil disobedience then we will have the numbers AND the motivation to stand together and demand our rights be respected.

Anyone who gives up his or her rights and rolls over is a coward and a traitor and even if tyranny succeeds for the moment those cowards who gave up will be no safer in the end.

How many Jews would have turned in their guns if they knew what was to come?

Oh you say, but that can't happen, that would never happen....that's why pictures were taken of the concentration camps, because one day people would say that it didn't happen, it couldn't happen.

Will you be empty handed when evil bears it's fangs and charges at you?
Would you rather go down swinging or balled up in the corner crying?
If we pull our heads together we can take proper action early and avoid having to stand alone, because you can scroll up and see what standing alone looks like.

We can do so much that may seem impossible if we only refuse to give up.
Congrats to Hunter and thanks for the inspiration.

LaVoy was telling people to stand up against the government, that this is our land and they have no right to take the land or our freedom, so they took his life and are right now putting everyone they can who stood up in jail.

Our government wants to keep their luxury power brokering lifestyle and they will kill to protect it.

Do you remember seeing Agent Dan Love at the Bundy standoff, remember how he was always wearing sunglasses.
You can buy these on flebay, detectives wear them, my nephew has a pair, they record audio and video.
All the time they were gathering evidence of verbal threats to use later.

I know this is a very basic thing, but I will mention it anyway.
When I drive out to our outdoor range it's nice to have ready reloads without wearing the chest rig, yes I should wear it to stay in practice, but these handy throw over the shoulder and I throw them over my neck bandoliers and pouches are really handy, they are inexpensive and a good thing to have as ammo goes fast when target shooting. I just picked the shotgun bandoliers up on flebay for 10 dollars and change, said to hold 55 rounds of 12Ga or 20ga but with 12ga I go 2 skip 1 and that fits well.

THIS was a good deal.
