Hey guys, I just backed up the forum. I am really pleased with the performance of the new backup method-- now a full backup takes only 5 to 10 minutes to complete=)

For fun, guess how many megabytes of data the forum is holding?

I'm guessing SenKat knows what he's talking about... I'm still gonna guess at about 5-10GB perhaps considering all the pictures that are attached since this awesome forum lets us actually use attachments I could always help out with some hosting and bandwidth... I'm thinking of making a photo-gallery kind of thing where members can upload pictures and such under their own albums and other can view them. Maybe I'll do that

Wanna sell off-line copies of LPF? It would fit on a single CD and has a wealth of information for the yearning laser enthusiast

damn, i was way off. i knew that this forum wouldn't be very big mainly because you can only add certain types of pics, but 728 WOW that's not very much! haha yes you should make some offline copies of LPF and sell them on cd's, every bit of info on lasers you'd want to know ;D ;D ;D

Just text is incredibly small. I mean the enitre Library of congress in text is only ~ 10-15 terabytes. I have a 2 tb Array at home. Of which the majority is my dvd collection. Maybe 100 dvd's.
