Misinformation. "Drug-sniffing dogs were used", or "drug-sniffing dogs detected a scent", or whatever, and it becomes "they had explosives".

I found nothing authoritative from after that day. But again, there are a lot of examples of misinformation being reported in the heat of the moment.

Media isn't intentionally spreading misinfo, unless they're still broadcasting this stuff. And they're not. This stuff was ALL heat-of-the-moment, and then never broadcast again.

A ton of errors, but they just happened. The media isn't intentionally doing anything on a day like that day, except trying to report the news, which was pretty much impossible for them to get everything right that day.

ETA: I suppose "misinformation" may have some intentional connotation attached to it, but I didn't intend it that way. I merely meant unintentional misinformation.

There are a lot of people (regular people that you can talk to) that were there the day of 9/11. They saw a plane first hand. You should talk to one.

As far as that picture of the hole in the wall that GoRdOn_B posted, that is very strange.. which building is that?

i have a co-worker that was there in NYC on 9/11.. we talk regularly about this. he has the same opinion as me. i also have a gaming friend that i talk with on teamspeak that still lives in nyc. He also holds these beliefs. please dont confuse me with wes. i dont run on old pasta about it was lasers and/or missiles from space blah blah.

i watched the planes smash just like everybody else. i just dont believe that makes skyscrapers turn into dust.

That's a far interior wall in the Pentagon, like the furthest in that any debris reached into the building. IIRC, that was on like the 3rd ring? There are 5 rings total. Some big, heavy, indestructible part of the plane made that hole, while the rest of the plane didn't make it that far.

That hole looks more like something this thing would do

They put a hollow charge to blast the entry hole and a "depleted" uranium charge to explode inside the target.

I complited a more accurate and detailed analysis of the pics. My estimate was that the tail of the plane was 465 feet from the impact point. further examination it appears it could have been closer to 450' from the impact point, based on the following photo analysis.

The Pentagon measures 921.6 feet along each external face, half of this distance, marked on the diagram between the central corridor and the upper-left corner of the Pentagon (cyan) is 460.8' Take this base measurement as a scale and measure the distance from the rear of the plane in the photo (red dot), along the approximate path of the jet (dark-green line) to the impact point. The distance the tail traveled between frames (heavy red line) is approx. 450', which is just short of the originally estimated 465' or 3 lengths of a 757, which is 155'.

So, 450 feet traveled in 1/30th of a second = 13500 feet/sec. = 2.55 miles/sec. = 153.4 miles/min. = 9204.54 mph = 7997 kts. = Mach 12.11

Even if you alter the path of the jet to a direct (90 degree) impact trajectory, (which introduces other unexplainable issues such as intact light-posts and trees, clearing the embankment, not to mention those anomalous hydro spools) you still end up with a final velocity exceeding Mach 6!

This photo is of a hole in the c-ring of the building, not the external wall. Look it up.

And your own, personal photoshop analysis? Well, color me unimpressed. You made pretty line, and measured things with a tiny, graint image where you could get ZERO real details in. Oh, and your analysis has been done by real experts on the subjects dozens, if not hundreds, of times. Show the real analysis by experts, and show me where their wrong.

"The hole is the wrong shape" has been debunked hundreds of times, and real computer physics simulations have shown that the damage is explained PERFECTLY by an airplane. Remember this is an ENTIRELY different kind of building. It has many support columns scattered throughout, and it is steel-reinforced concrete. The WTC buildings were steel ONLY, and were that "tube in a tube" design. Completely different, and people who are actual experts in both types of buildings have many, many times confirmed the results of that day, and confirmed that it made perfect sense.

But I do love that not only are you more of an expert in structural engineering than actual structural engineers, you're also more of an expert in photo analysis than real photo analysts, and more of an expert in weapons than anyone in the entire Air Force (you should really let them know that depleted uranium can explode, because they've apparently been using it wrong for decades).

I dont try to push my opinions on others as if its the all out truth.. i have just been expressing my views on why i disbelieve the "official story". there are a lot of things that just dont seem right to me. there are a lot that still dont. all we can do is discuss what happened and decide for ourselves whats "the truth". i still think thermate brought down the towers.. only because i have done my homework, if you havent done any then it just makes you sound dumb and discredits the others who have. i didnt just jump on the bandwagon becuase its cool or wtf ever. thats just not me. i still read reports on it because its important to me. i do not believe ignorange is strength. (its a quote from a book- not calling anyone ignorant)

this thread started on this whole F-theGov trip.. so i ranted and all i have been challenged on is my views on 9/11, nothing else. it seems that for the most part most of us agree that things are bad.. something is wrong. we all know it. but i still love my country. i wouldnt give it up for anything.
