Well its time for my yearly eye appointment to check and see if my vision has gotten worse since the last time I was there. Ive been doing quite a bit of 'lasing' since then so I guess we will see if my safety glasses have been doing their job hehe. I also had some pigmentation on my eye from a "5mw" ebay laser that I used to own about 6 years ago when I did not practice laser safety and wanted to get a better look at the actual diode. Last time I was at the eye doctor the pigmentation was nearly gone so I have my fingers crossed that my vision hasnt gotten any worse and the pigmentation is gone. If my vision stabilizes then I can start thinking about laser eye surgery (from a licensed professional lol) so wish me luck! :p

And yes, since the time I caused the eye damage, I have begun to practice proper safety and I "grew up" so I actually know what Im doing. Let this be a lesson to all : even if a laser is rated for 5mw, they can easily cause damage to your eyes and safety glasses are required!

Well, good and bad news, the pigmentation from my unintelligent decisions with the ebay laser is still there, but there is no new damage from my more powerful lasers :) my stigmatism is getting worse in my eye so I have to wait a little while to thing about lasiks. But hey the eagle pair glasses I have been using work great!

I also like eagle pair glasses, I have more than once been very glad I had them on because stuff happens.
