So google is now offering money transfer services through email using google wallet.... the best part is if you have you bank linked to google wallet then ITS FREE TO SEND MONEY!

I love Google wallet, I always use it when it's available with online stores. I just wish more vendors would start offering it. Google also needs to bring it to other countries, I wish it was available for Canadian vendors!

My favorite part is this!
You can also pay with your credit and debit cards for a low fee of 2.9% per transaction (minimum $0.30). Receiving money is always free.
Much cheaper than PoopPal.

Hmm... Free sounds good. Do I want to give Google my bank info along with my pron habits? ;)

Yeah, only downside is I think only the US can use it at the moment.

Someone I bought from awhile back only used Google so I'm already setup. I had actually forgot about it.

I assume the feature is the same as sending a gift payment with paypal meaning no protection which also is free. How is that any different? I take Google wallet payments and they charge me a fee but it is for goods with buyer/seller protection. So I don't see this being any different.

My reasoning is that don't want to lose my PayPal account for selling or buying lasers... Papal is crucial to make purchases online and I would be upset to be kicked off.

Yeah, but without any buyer protection, who is going to send you money for those lasers? They might as well mail you cash.

BB, I feel ya. I don't know how comfortable I'd normally be with that, but DTR says they're offering him protection. It seems I have more reading to do.

Ah, looks like it's only the in-store Google wallet that works in the US.
