Ghost Rider...

Okay - the movie was WAY less than I had hoped for *sigh* I hope I can save some of you a few bucks by telling you to wait till it comes out on dvd so you only have to pay $3.00 to rent it, and lose 2 hours of your life permanently. HUGELY dissapointed.

It looks crappy with all those stupid childish playstation graphics too. Thanks for saving me 2 hours ;D ;D ;D

Yeah - there was about 3 minutes of good special effects - then it was over. Dangit. Hate to see some of those big names get sucked into the whirlpool of dispair that is this movie....could be a carreer ender for some of them. Oh well - they will have to live off their millions some other way ! LOL

thought it was ok, nothing special really. today saw black snake moan which was pretty good; creative and not generic like most movies nowadays

I guess I just had my hopes set too high I'll probably STILL buy it on DVD though - I am a Ghost Rider fanatic from way back !

Yup - that's it precisely.
In a nutshell (for the comic book series anyways) a Stunt moto racer made a deal with the Devil for "something" and in exchange, the Devil made him into an "on-call" bounty hunter....special powers, etc....It was a fascinating comic when I was younger - loved the artwork ! Too bad they couldn't have transferred more of the "theme" into the movie ! They made his bike look AWESOME though ! It was MOSTLY along the lines of the original - but some creative license was used !
The movie I cannot wait for - well, three actually, Harry Potter (yeah...I'm one of THOSE people), Transformers (DOOOOD !), and Spiderman III !

THAT would indeed be nice ! It would be great if they get the batman and superman actors to play their parts in this movie.....more continuity, I think....
