You're missing the big, long-term picture. We buy up and burn all they have. Yes it costs us now. However, all they have is oil. When it's gone, they have nothing left. We win!

Peace,
dave
This can't happen soon enough. I paid over $4.00/gal. for the 1st time today.

$60/month I have friends come to me! ;D
98 Civic HX 117HP CVT Transmission
I get 40MPG because don't drive over 60MPH and drive like a EPA engineer tying to get best MPG.
I use super lubes and add a few Oz of acetone in the tank for better vaporazation.

My other hobby is alternitive energy capture devices.
Check out these 16xx PDF pages of suppressed inventions
My favorite is Stanley Meyers water cracker.
Also Ed Grays spark driven electric motor invention received a presidential award from Pres R. Regan! He sold out to a Oil company & mysteriously died a pauper.

The oil companys will stop raising prices if we stop buying gas every Weds says a finance advisor.

Chinas demand for gas is the main reason it's climing so high.
Oil speculators control prices based on predictions of they might not have enough to sell some future day. Perfectly legal?

acetone yikes i used to work for Ford motor company as a mechanic 3 years I heared that acetone will eat up seals and make your car run much hotter than normal
now i haven't personally seen this so I can't disprove your claim just worked with a couple old school Mechanics that told me to never try it

In 10 gals. it's no problem. E85 vehicles would be able to take it better. Fuel injection doesn't allow good gas vaporazation like a NASCAR carb./hot manafold. They should make cars for better gas milage.

A Z06 is a 505+HP 7L w/Brembo brakes Chev., Corvette. Wow ! I learn something everyday.
Edit:Brembo
stop complaining I spend $436.00 a month to do about 500 miles  :'(

I, for one, was most assuredly NOT complaining.  A couple of years ago my wife and I made a trip to Ireland.  We rented a car.  When we stopped for gas, my wife mentioned that .98 wasn't that expensive for gas.  I had to explain to her that, that was .98 EURO not US dollars.  Which at the the exchange rate at the time was about $1.29 AND that, that price was for a LITER!  So it was about $5.10 a gallon for gas two years ago!!

We have it VERY good here.

Peace,
dave
I think $1.29 is CHEAP for a liter of gas! Yesterday the price here in Sweden was SEK 13,34, which is $2,21 for one liter and the price is expected to go up even more! :'( So you guys don't really have anything to complain about yet :p
