Ive only ever known them as duplex nails (canada anyway) google seems to agree with me. what do you call them?

We call them double head nails. We use them here for assembly of fireworks racks so they can be pulled apart after the show.

Ive been meaning to get my fireworks license for 7 years now. maybe this is the year haha.

Edit: Damn, looks like I'm going to miss out on this one too. there is only one course per year near me and you need to sign up a month in advance. It's on april 27th :(

i know and I really want to but this time of year has always been busy for me (I used to work at my parents greenhouse) and now landscaping. combined with having to submit the paperwork a month before the class and then they always change the date one year it will be in June then maybe April then May. I have basically been in love with fireworks since I was a baby. I was never grounded, if I did something bad my parents just wouldn't buy me fireworks :)
