Ding! ding! Anselm is the winner! It is the Moller skycar. You were almost there HIMNL9, because it's a vtol.

I don't know how well it flies, if it loses one engine. :)

It is ~9mm at the largest point but can be larger
for larger uses... I have some that are ~12mm in
dia.

It looks as a spring contact for a pushbutton (i mean, the inside spring that made the "click" and close the contact between the poles) ..... from one of these flat pcb-mounted buttons .....

electrical...

@ anselm... No it is not part of a R/C Heli..
I believe it is made of thin Brass... and is semi flexible.

A circular spring for a gas pressure reducer / one way valve ?


@anselm: jaredian beatened me, anyway that look as part of a diorama composition (just a personal impression) ..... are you a modeler ?
