HM I think I might have gotten it with my last guess, but I swear I saw something similar used in a bread grinding mill. Hak said no to that.

together you and Hmike got it-- the only reason I found out was that I showed it to a guy that used to work for American Rice here in Freeport Tx they are put into a tumbler to remove the husk from rice-- good going both of you

I should have posted the pic with the lable whited out- it is used to aprtially crush the body of a cooked crab to ease the removale of the crabmeat inside--- without that lable I had no clue.

the blue ball is a item made by rubbermaid for cake icing and the like.
