Possible-^^
but screens for shade look different-smaller holes- more sun blocked-the screen in this one looks just like screens we see for bugs.. and yes its far bigger than ANY side windows in cars but it may fit in a read window of a wagon, PU truck or suv type- having no markings of any kind I do not think its a aftermarket item-- I will show it to more car dealers in my area--its also too heavy duty to be what you suggest---aftermarket stuff is usually less heavy duty(cheap)

DukeAnumber:
That looks like a cutaway from a really big transformer. The copper is probably the primary
and the aluminum channel a secondary that is hollow to allow oil to pass through for cooling.

Dunno what TheDukeAnumber1's pic is. I would guess it's a picture of the side-by-side elevator shaft of a very strong doomsday bunker dollhouse action figure house for action figures.

The Lightning Stalker's pic looks like the resistive element from a car cigarette lighter, removed from the lighter head. But obviously it is just a moldy cinnamon roll.

Hak, maybe it is a screen for a jeep or something, like a sunshade windscreen to keep the sun out but let air in? See if you can find some maker's mark on the frame, or a part number or something.

TheDukeAnumber1: Is it the end of some kind of radiator core?

The Lightning Stalker: Is it plumbers putty or plumbing solder?

BShanahan got it. It is the heating element from a car cigarette lighter.

Hak: they look like either knife scabbards or banana peels.

^^^ BShan- got it back out looked very close not a mark of any kind- this thing i very well built for sure not a cheap thing. the pull out screen part has a very strong spring and i can see no way to keep it down - I think the ends only fold up like that to make is shorter and to fit into the zipper case-- -- strange-find... it looks brand new=it will stay in my car and i WILL be stopping are the various dealerships around here I am betting its from a ride that is a late model- SUV- wagon or truck -
