You would be correct lol. Basically when you stomp on the gas the vacuum drops and this valve pops open to give you extra fuel. Us race guys remove them and put a stopper in there because though great for the street, on the strip they suck.

Hmm, interesting.

I'll try to think of something to stump you guys, but nothing comes to mind right now... anyone else is welcome to jump in.

No, haha, that's a conductive rubber ribbon connector for LCDs! I've mangled dozens of those!

You get all my electronics ones!

They are elastomeric connectors for LCDs.

Yes and no. Not high by my standards.

Hint; just about everyone has one in their house.

Sig is right.

Back in the olden days of repairing monochrome lcd's in cell/ mobile phone phones, I replaced hundreds of these elastomers.

Door bell solenoid or something in a water heater?

It is used to heat water, but not in a water heater. It works by spinning electrons in a spiral path creating resonance at a certain frequency which is then coupled to an antenna and then fed via waveguide to a target chamber. (Basically giving it away now).

Magnometer. Or whatever the microwave thing is called?

Edit: Sig got the last one. He posted a link to his mystery object.
