Sorry I cannot agree, this device does not stamp anything on the metal.

It is an electronic seal, yes, but has an event counter that increments the counter each time it is closed to hold the cable
that seals the container, truck, or other.

The most modern electronic seals generate unpredictable random numbers (usually 4) each time they are closed, and this
number must be recorded on the vehicle (container, or other) documentation for checking at the delivery point, and any
tampering to open this device is easily identified if the number has changed.

Down here you have an example of modern electronic seal, although there are a variety of forms and sizes.

I was really only being facetious, since it was mentioned that it was for stamping things, and then a clue was given that the things were metal, so I made the smart-ass move of adding 1 and 1 in the most generic way possible.

I would say Piferal wins this one, esp. since I've never even seen nor heard of such a device (although after hearing Piferal's explanation, makes great sense!)

I just wanted to clarify what is, and how this device works because I know a little this type of seals, that's all,
and, no, I don't consider have won only for writing this clarification, so if someone wants to put something go ahead.

Looks like power in one side negative and positive the other side part of very old radio transmitter? Morse transmitter part

The lettering on the box looks to be like the lettering on old military stuff...so maybe like a radiation detector or something? I have no idea how it would work, but idk.

For sure looking ex military but the letters look like they are reversed very much so, the glass bulbs look like they should glow when that ever voltage is applied to them at the right lvl maybe part of military medical equipment xray part but I'm sure the bulbs would glow maybe clue for another this is a real hard one

For the amount that I disassembled in my life and the shape of this, and the connections that have this device,
I would say that is maybe a kind of old Magnetron, perhaps a cavity Magnetron.
