A device that prevents overheating?

Maybe a primitive infrared sensor?

Or, maybe it provides stability? :p

Ok, the word stability is not that I expected, but it'll be good because the stability is one part of the guidance system.

This device is a Angle of Attack Assembly Sensor.

Is part of the guidance system, and detect changes in position of the missile by measuring the pressure differences between the
various orifices, which are located strategically.

And need to be heated because at high altitudes the temperature is extremely low and could close their holes by the formation of ice.

You're next if you want

No, is not the same, the pitot tube is for measure one fluid or air flow
velocity, this one is not the same (the circuit is closed) , it measures the
pressure for each hole as I said before, and not the speed.

Ok, how about a bit of this then?

No clues yet, it should be easy. Ignore the blocks.

Well, here we have put all kinds of objects, spatial tools, spare or pieces of satellites, old tools,
also photos of objects hardly distinguished for its poor quality, intended or not, or retouched photos etc, etc.

Honestly I do not see what is the problem by putting a piece of a missile, or aircraft or of anything,
asking questions and giving clues everything is possible to find, I do not think it is impossible.

But this is only my personal opinion, and each may have his own.

^^ ok that's fair comment , but that said , when NO ONE has any idea what it is, apart from the poster, and the poster isn't around, then the thread goes dormant until more clues are given, and then people start to loose interest.

Oh, ok, so this is like a newer, fancy pitot :eg:

Ped, that is a blank that you can put in the cigarette lighter of your car. It is asthetic only, fireproof, a self defense weapon, a car escape tool, and a hamburger cooker all in one. Much more useful than a cigarette lighter, don't you think?
