These are specialty goggles used in the laser manufacturing industry. It allows the operator to both view the output from the green laser that they are aligning and wipe the sweat from their face.

If your wondering how I knew, we use a similar device in our shop to close watches after replacing the battery. Ours is like a pistol grip that you queeze, whereas yours is a vice.
