Am I trippin or did frothychimp come back for like one day then disappear again? i thought he was a great member. but i found it to be really childish for the reason he initially left.

Frothy has posted a few times recently. Notably on threads concerning the goggles that his company sells, but also at least once or twice on another thread.

And I disagree that his leaving was childish. Exactly the opposite, he left because he didn't want to be one of the seemingly few adults around here (and you have to admit, at times it does feel that way).

Agreed... Frothy was fed up of the childish rhetoric and behavior of
some members and went to other more mature Forums that suits
him a bit more....

After all.... as he would put it...

I miss his intellect, knowledge, and humor.

Hopefully with his recent limited exposure he will see that we are a bit more controlled than before

. . . . Unless he looked into the Arctic threads :(

Absolutely right.. he left because no one would listen to the plain truth. There have been a few times when I've been tempted to leave.. hell I did leave for a little while, but I think Frothy had a far better reason for leaving than I did. It's good to see him back again.. he's a true laser expert.

I guess you guys are right. But I just expected a little more at that time. but i was a newer member then. but i see your sides on his departure. and while i do/did consider it childish... I found him to be a pleasant member. which is why is still remember him.

^ no, your reason for leaving albeit briefly is the only reason I would ever go. IIRC frothy was in a non debate debate over the law concerning selling lasers. I'll look for the thread when I have some more time... decent thread that went from very informative to a flame throwing, crap fest.

Yes that was me. I have returned to ensure those purchasing protective eye wear get the real information they need. I have posted on a thread or two mainly because I check in to answer any questions on the group buy and some thread or another grabs my attention.

I have no intention of rapidly expanding my thread count on the forum. Frankly, I live this laser stuff every day, day in and day out. I don't want to go home and spend time on a laser forum. I rarely post on any of the other forums either.
