This is getting ridiculous.

It's time we all found a new forum.

EDIT: Someone emailed me anonymously, not sure who, and said to relay the message about when those two would be back. I can't imagine that there's any issue with doing that, so (assuming this info is accurate) here's what I was told:
"IE will be back on 4/24, FP will be back on 4/20."

He got banned again for repeated trolls after being told multiple times by the Admin to stop it. It has nothing to do with the forum. Jeff is an adult, and completely responsible for his own actions.

This is all getting very old. We all pretend to be adults. Yet we try to sanitize our interactions with some sort of vague rules the nobody really understands nor is capable of equitably applying across the board.

We either need to BE adults, and live with (no bans, no deletions) all the unpleasant stuff that adults have to deal with. Or we need to be children and deal with none of that (and instead turn to perma bans, drama, expulsion from our planet, etc). But this wishy-washy "tween" state of existence just doesn't work.

I'd prefer being adults. If we have to be children, I can live with that too. But being an awkward 13 year old, surrounded by other awkward 13 year olds, just aint fun anymore.

Thats all fine in an ideal world, but as you can guess, its not.

We are 99% males. I'm amazed there are not more fights, and squabbles. We have a stellar community compared to most other male organizations.

This isnt about rules, its about the Admin saying to stop. Avery is king here, and no one member is worth more than another. We all make this forum a home. We need to get along, period.

Worth more? No, you're right.

But you and I both know that the reality is that you and I (or any other longer-term member) would both get a lot more lenience than some new member with 12 rep. So - it's not exactly an egalitarian society.

This is Just Crazy.

I was Just talking to IE for his Builds iam working on and now he is Banned.

:thinking: Tried to see what might have caused this but i fail to see anything he did wrong.

All this previous Banning going on and now these most recent ones to Very Respected members is Really Putting me down.

Even though it might just be for a Few Days these are the Members that make this forum and its upsetting to see it happening to them.

I wont Mention the few names but i really feel that All these recent ban's on the few members is just not cool.

If I had 1 wish to be granted on this matter it would be to Just Sit them all down in maybe 1 big Chat room and talk it out. I know they can work it out. They are all good at heart.

I think alot of it that is going on is misunderstood by each other and feel as if they all sit down and talk it out they could possible work out there differences.

They are all Great member in my book.

At the End We Hope to see everyone be cool with each other. Maybe not best buddies but enough to be civil.

All I know is these Recent ban's on the few member on this subject has Put me down as I respect all of them equal and hate to see this continue.

IE has been up Dave's arss for a long time. I'm very surprised he wasnt banned long ago. I dont know why he was banned, but he has been escalating the latest drama show a little too much.

Iam Not good with words But I feel everything should be talk out.

Again I wont mention the names as i dont want to re start something but I feel these memeber that are in this subject are all Good at heart and can work this out.

Ive talked to all of them before. 1 more then others and I know he is willing to talk it out.

Now to find a Way to set this Up if its possible.

It does make me Upset though.

To me, the worst part is that Jeff has contributed a good bit of useful information and tools to our community. TJ has been a member here for a long time, and while not the most technically minded individual he's contributed here and there in other ways.. he's got a nose for detecting questionable individuals that I've yet to see beat.

The forum would be a lesser place without either one of them. In fact, it pains me whenever people that I perceive to be inherently good at heart just can't get along. I know it's been said before, but you guys really should just put each other on your ignore lists at least until emotions cool down. Right now it's a tit for tat game.

I've tried, Dave tried, Avery tried, others have tried to get us to work it out. It only works if we leave each other alone.

Honestly I'm done, I was done months ago. For whatever reason it reared its ugly head again, then got blown out of proportion.

There has been a lot of lies, and backstabbing going on, and I'm not part of any of it. This crap is making people take sides, and thats wrong. The whole thing is silly internet drama. I wish people would except that fact, and move on.

So lets all just shut up and drop it.... starting NOW

Drama done. People on each other's ignore lists (hopefully).

No need for more discussion.

I am fairly new to the forums, but I sincerely respect all the work and research that has been put in by all the vets of this forum, and it just really bothersome to see them get banned like that, again and again. I agree with suggestions above, if you dont like someone, just put them on ignore list, thats why its there for.

I used to see drama like this on some car club forums, where many members were 16-18 yr range, not from forum like this....where majority members are adults, smart and educated.

No I don't. Various other people appear to have taken some boards off of Moh's hands, and are producing them with various setups and schemes for selling them.

Check out Moh's thread. I'm pretty sure the people who bought his PCBs have mentioned it.
