Flaminpyro ''Jeff'' M.I.A. ???

It is a bit worrying, I had mail conversation with Jeff until 5 days ago since he is sending me a few flexsmods. He told me he would conclude it once his ban was settled on the 2nd, so he knew when the ban was over. Nevermind the FMs, this is just to show that he has involvements, and that they dont seem to get handled either. I really hope he is ok.

I'm being purposefully ambiguous so as not to be censored, but to simply have a discussion meaningful discussion. It should be fairly obvious who I'm talking about though.

Please elaborate how my interpretation of the drunk's actions, and those of the bouncers is one sided?

Am I failing to see things from the drunk's perspective? Or from the perspective of the bouncers? What do you think is their interpretation of the matter?

You misinterpreted my statement about being kicked out of bars somewhat, but that's irrelevant, since you took away a good point from it.

So what happens to guys who don't learn to play nice?

My Point was that it was not a single drunk alone (one sided) in
the "Bar" but 2 drunks swinging at each other that caused their
own problems....

I don't come here very often, and I'm not a DIY girl but more a laser colector, but I'm VERY serious when I deal with people here, and I spent big money here already, not only laser related but a Tesla and Tritium vials too.

Because a episode from something that was not cheap that I buyed from FP and had a potential to become problematic and in the end it was resolved the BEST way possible, I will always vouch for FP. And he always treated me very well via PM... So I hope he will came back soon.

As for another person, I still waiting for a refund... sigh...

Well hell I certainly hope that something else didn't happen to him. Jeff has always been a real up front good guy to me. I hope he is okay.

It is strange. He has not answered any of my emails in a few days either. I know he likes to go quad riding. Hope he has not had an accident. He also has had problems with his lungs and the hospital is pretty far from where he lives so if he is having health problems again he may not be able to get on. Uhm, as opposed to before when it was known that it was posted on this forum?

That section is a semi-private area, frequented by maybe ~50 people, the same level of confidentiality as with PM's or private emails doesn't apply but some does, so people are able to be a little more open and revealing than they are here.

Not that I care at all about that particular post (it's no secret on the open forum I like to drink, and go out a lot) but I figured you of all people would respect the bounds of confidentiality, given your own reactions in the past.

Not everyone that goes to a bar is a drunk though. If the same drunk keeps starting trouble with DIFFERENT people than maybe that specific drunk is the problem as opposed to everyone else...

Pretty sure the new rules aren't in effect yet, so you qualify :thinking: Just PM c0ld or any of the vets for that matter.

Trust me you're not missing much... it's terribly boring compared to the open forum. In there one new thread starts maybe in a week, sometimes more, sometimes less, and most die quick and painful deaths of irrelevance.

I don't think he wants to talk to me or any other member of the admin team right now

I sincerely hope that nothing physical or otherwise has caused a crisis in Jeff's life.
I have known him for quite a long time now
I have met him at a LEM and he has been to my house
I have done a fair bit of business with him over the years and recommend him regularly.
Not many people enjoy being disciplined, especially when they don't think they've done anything wrong

I am hoping that Jeff is just angry right now and is taking time to cool down
It would be a great loss to the forum if he decided to leave

Yeah, I've heard it's not very exciting. I don't really feel like a vet though. Maybe some day I'll ask.

I tried PMing Avery back when I hit 1k but got no responce. I've been wondering if the bar was raised at some point and I wasn't aware of it.

That being said I need in too, haha. Any idea of who would be best to PM?

You're both about ten times as qualified as Toaster....

There was talk about raising the bar, but nothing was finalized... at least not afaik, and I'm pretty compulsive about some details.
