It's only that way cause the guy is a billionaire. If he was living in a trailer, it would be a criminal minds episode.

Too many people seem to be very obsessed with this movie, even though it's only women going to see it I think when it is released on DVD they will sell many millions.

Companies wonder what they can do to boost revenue... well, simultaneous release would be nice, especially where we're dealing with tv shows, where usually the whole season is filmed in advance.

At least now they shortened the span from movie to dvd to just 3-4 months, in the past it used to be much longer.

Last movie I paid for, that was not in theaters was World War Z... nothing like the book and with gaping plot holes, but it was only $.99.

Oh it's not so much that they aren't sold, it's more that I can't understand why anyone would buy them.

Almost all movies can be streamed now days without paying... and too many to watch are also on services like amazon and netflix.

Unfortunately, there are some of us on ISPs which actively track and hand over reports on pirating by customers. I haven't been able to take part since the napster days when I got a cease & desist. =/

as long as you don't use torrents you're fine.

Yeah, torrents are a big no-no, heh. Other than watchseries (no-signup streaming site) I haven't heard of or seen much else, and certainly nothing for movies.

I know we're off topic of FSOG, but honestly, the thread can only go up from where it started, haha.

You can get by ISP tattling on torrents with a vnp, but it's kind of a hassle, and not free. As of late there just isn't anything that tempts be enough to do that route though.

Streaming for the moment is legal though, that is watching a stream, not uploading.

For the most part, I'd say 90% of the time I use netflix, and amazon prime. Only stream when the show will not be up on netflix for months, and maybe years, or alternatively if the only source requires me to pay through the nose, and have a cable subscription.

I consistently use tor with two bridges which seems to work fine for everything, and it makes it hard for the ISP to even know where I go. And it's not slow at all.
